there should be a sequal. this movie was AMAZING!! i JUST saw it for the first time and it was the directors cut! I was really surprised and impressed by it.

whether its in movie form or on television, and whoever plays him (MCH of course), this man must do all of the stunt work for daredevil...

his movements match everything I've always imagined when reading the daredevil comics

I can't see the video at work... but I am imagining that it is Cyril... He is the guy to do all the stunt work, parkour climbing / leaping action, and fight sequences. He is Jackie Chan meets Ray Park.

Yeah, it's Cyril. He's been mentioned on DD threads before as the go-to-guy.

Doubled for a SSS Tim Roth so why not double as DD?

Personally, I think David Belle should be doubling Daredevil and Cyril doubling Iron Fist. Belle is much more acrobat oriented and less flashy (as far as parkour goes), while Cyril has a real flashy marital arts oriented style

Theres more reason for Cyril not being DD other than not being MCH.

Hes as much an actor as 50 Cent or Ray Park is. He got as far as he has because of what he can do, not how he can act.

Im not even sure how good he is at English, and if he did, he sounds like he has a pretty strong French accent.

as for people that are saying david belle...belle is no where near the same level as cyril when it comes to martial arts, and cyril is slightly more skilled in acrobatics. belle does own cyril in parkour, as he pretty much introduced him to it. daredevil is firstly a martial artist, in his training with stick, and secondly an acrobat, moving around the city. cyril just moves so smoothly on his own and in combat. i mean, just picture him wearing the daredevil costume during that casino scene in district b13.

They both move smoothly, and Belle has had just as much training as Cyril. Daredevil is a good martial artist but no where near Iron Fist. A line should be drawn between the two, having the same guy doubling both would be 2 similar, and considering Belle has a much better amalgam of martial arts and gymnastics it would complement Daredevil's style much more than Cyril would, whos more martial arts and far more flashy.

As for playing DD... Cyril can't act, has too much accent, and is like only 5'9"...

I am not as familiar with seeing Belle in action, so he may be best suited for DD in comparison to Cyril for Ironfist (for stunt work, and fighting scenes).

Whatever the case, DD, Cap, even Spiderman needs more live action stunts, acrobatics, and fight sequences as opposed to CG stuff. These guys need to be on the payroll.

i know ben affleck said he wouldn't reprise his role, but i think he was really good at daredevil.

But cyril would be doing a whole lot more than just doubling, he is a stunt coordinator and has his own stunt crew. david belle is just an actor (however he is coordinating the parkour for the prince of persia movie). cyril is a professional stunt coordinator first, and actor second so there wouldnt need to be a line to draw between daredevil and iron fist. he would obviously not make identical sequences for the characters. don't get me wrong, i'm a much bigger fan of david belle, who is a parkour purist (no flips and tricks) and a great gymnast and martial artist, but cyril's profession is making things look good in movies.

Belle is also a stunt coordinator you said yourself, and not just an actor with a varied history of training in military, martial arts, gymnastics, and created his own stunt form, parkour. I see no reason why Cyril should be the only one allowed to do things.
