The first Daredevil film is one of the biggest disapointments I've ever had leaving a theater. Up there with The Matrix sequels.

There has only been one Daredevil film. I don't know how those films you've mentioned could have been anymore disappointing than the Star Wars prequels.

The Variety source article also mentions in passing that Marvel is “quietly developing a new version of Daredevil and working on a Silver Surfer film.” We’ve known both of those projects existed in theory, but this is the most recent word of forward motion. If I remember correctly (and do let me know if I’m wrong, as after the first film I stopped paying much attention to a Fox-developed Daredevil project) the last time we heard about this, another Daredevil flick was merely being ‘considered’.

Yeah, I quoted that on the Ghost Rider 2 thread -- forgot to do it here though Anyway, I hope they do this one. I'm more interested in another Daredevil movie than a 2nd Cage-Ghost Rider

They certainly did some interesting things with the character in the first one. I especially liked his attitude. Not so much his methods (leaving a guy to die on a subway rail, for instance), but his lines themselves weren't, actually, that bad at all.

I think that Fox is just trying to retain the rights to these movies (DD, FF and Silver Surfer) They see the bank that DK and IM are making and want their cut. It's too bad... I would love for Marvel to get all their properties back.

I just watched the DC of the movie, i thought it was pretty good, definately glad affleck wont be back, i just cant see him as a man without fear.

Please don't kill me but I really do feel like if they did a year one approach (reboot) then Megan Fox would be a great Elektra.

I seriously doubt that a greek actress is going to get the role. How many greek actresses are there anyway? The only ones I can come up with is Jennifer Aniston and Nia Vardalos.

I never understood the casting of Jennifer Gardner when its obvious that she doesn't have a Mediterranean look. I was actually baffled that they kept her natural hair color too.
