Dark Avengers Script Commissioned by Marvel Studios

Oh my gosh this would be a dream come true! You know, someone on twitter asked if Margot Robbie wanted to come to the marvel u who should she play and I just realised she would make an epic moonstone.

Plus great opportunity to use abomination! Do you think they’ll use Norman again or someone else like hammer or gyrich?

(Definitely the clues that they’re building up to secret invasion and beyond are starting to mount up)

Justin Hammer would be a good lead but I'm guessing Taskmaster since I'm not sure Marvel can use Osbourne. Could the Dark Avengers be a way to bring the Red Skull back to be the villain now that Cap is probably going to be out?

Have Zemo in the leader role. They were obviously setting him up for future things in CW.

This. And it would make the most sense for him to be the leader. It could also be a good opportunity for long forgotten surviving villains like Justin Hammer, Abomination and Leader to return.

Zemo seems a no-brainer.

Feeling betrayed by more people promising a cure and then 'failing' her, since, for spoiler-y reasons, they aren't able to deliver the healing particles to stabilize her condition, Ghost, from Ant-Man and the Wasp, could also return to her roots as an adversary and serve as a 'Dark Avenger.'

This makes me wonder if Marvel might be planning to introduce Karla Sofen in Captain Marvel 2. And maybe Ares could be in Eternals... I mean, we already know from Ragnarok that he exists in the MCU, so...

Kinda makes too much sense not too happen. General Ross putting together his team of Avengers from criminals from the past, since none if the heroes left will listen to the government. Ghost, Zemo, Scorpion, hell even get Bullseye from DD.

Probably won’t be Bullseye cause Netflix Marvel. I could see someone like Taskmaster taking on the Hawkeye role.

So, would this mean they’re rearranging the Secret Invasion storyline? Ross and/or Zemo and/or Osborn enter the picture post-Infinity War with another “The Avengers suck at their job” thing, get their own team together and it goes bad because the Skrulls invade earth and the new team isn’t as qualified to deal with the chaos or because the powers that be are Skrulls (Gen. Ross has to be the obvious character for that twist.)

She was an oft repeated name for Danvers back in the day but I could see Yvonne Strahovski coming off The Handmaiden’s Tale as Karla Sofen.

Yeah, I think Ross makes the most sense for being in the Osborn role. He's already basically there in the MCU. Make him Red Hulk and you even have the whole duel personality thing that Osborn has.

If they dont do Thunderbolts that is.

They could introduce Trickshot as the Hawkeye equivalent since Bullseye is likely off-limits due to the Daredevil show.

True. I'm specifically talking Dark Avengers. If it is Thunderbolts, then it should definitely be Zemo. The whole dynamic of the original Thunderbolts (supervillains pretending to be heroes so they can take over the world only to eventually grow a conscience and decide to be heroes for real) was completely different from the Dark Avengers (villains under the employ of the government).

Hmmm, very interesting.

Why can't they use Norman? He's an integral part of the story.

Yeah. Ross is not... evil or cunning enough to lead the Dark Avengers. As for Zemo, I'm having a hard time imagining him leading a team of superheroes or wearing an Iron Man armor.

Tricky relationship with Sony. It would be great if they could use him but if they can’t at least there’s a few other candidates.

I wonder if they can incorporate the iron patriot again somehow?

Zemo would presumably be Citizen V, not the Iron Patriot.

*Checks Wikipedia because he hasn't read a single Thunderbolts comic in his life* But Citizen V is just Zemo in a fancy costume, I want Iron Patriot. Many people are wondering who will don the IM armor once Tony's gone... well, what if his replacement was EVIL? That would be cool, and would take the GA by surprise. Plus the commissioned script is allegedly about the Dark Avengers, not the Thunderbolts.

Then again, I guess they need to do something else with Zemo. They can't just forget about him.

So wait, who's still kickin:
-Zemo
-Batroc
-Red Skull
-Abomination
-Vulture

Then you got like Dormammu and possibly Ultron, but I can't see them working for the US government, Scorpion who hasn't really been introduced yet, and Ghost who isn't really a villain
Seems like they'd have to introduce some new blood to fill out the team, especially the ladies
and for the record, I'd be all for Agent Carter's Black Widow somehow being brought to the future... Bridget Regan is always welcome :hrt::wow:

And also, rhodey was iron patriot

That's a big reason why I wouldn't do it again. Also, why Ross wouldn't be a good replacement in the lead role as he already has an evil alter-ego. He'd just be the Hulk counterpart instead of Stark's. And he's already got a high government position, so you don't have to establish why Norman Osborn is there. While I liked the Secret Invasion and Dark Reign storylines, I always found it really hard to buy that people would consider Norman this great hero and put him in a position of power like that.

Plus, Ross has an advantage in already being established in the MCU. We know who he is. Osborn hasn't been, so that would have to be done.

Yeah it's like Donald Trump becoming presi- oh, wait... godammit...
