DC Animated - Superman/Batman: Apocalypse

I hope not. I would rather an original movie.

Lauren Montgomery (Wonder Woman, Green Lantern 1st Flight and JL Crisis on 2 Earths) is hugely talented and obviously has a penchant for female characters. Check out her blog: (http://laurenmontgomery.blogspot.com/)

And the Superman/Batman arc in question features Supergirl, Wonder Woman, Barda, the Amazons and the Female Furies. :awesome:

Doesn't take away the fact that I would like an original story that I(and everyone else) have no idea how it's going to end.

I would like an original story too because IMO the Supergirl story sucked.

well wb/dc have their reasons i guess they want to adapt stories then make up all new ones.

Good grief! Can't DC put out ANYTHING but Superman/Batman:Whatever? :(
I'll pass until they give us a great animated Flash movie, Hawkman, Aquaman, Plastic Man, Captain MArvel, Blue Beetle/Booster Gold, Green Arrow or dozens of others!

Well you'll be passing until you're dead than.

well we know why they are doing batman/superman ones. since they are their top sellers and top characters. But i am sure we will probably be seeing flash soon enough if production really does get going on live action film for the character. Then others probably not going to get a feature release but we can look forward to shorts on them more likely.

The DVD artwork has been released:

So, as you can see this will be an adaptation of "The Supergirl from Krypton". Also of note, it is scheduled to be released on September 28, 2010.

you can't blame DC for only putting out batman and superman and the JL as they are the only ones that sell and DC wants to get paid.

I would like to see the flash DTV. also dc could do a lot worse then an entire DTV filled with animated shorts rather than a feature length movie.

Clayton Crain did the cover art it looks like.

Cool cover but I have very little hope this will be any good. The only good animated feature released was 'Crisis On Two Earths' and that's because it was an old script left over from Dwayne McDuffles days on the Justice League animated series. Unless he's adapting it I don't expect this be any less watered down from it's source than 'Public Enemies' and 'Superman/Doomsday'.

Awesome cover, but I'm a little disappointed that it will be based on "The Supergirl from Krypton", story arc instead of an original story.

Nice, I'm all over this. :awesome:

ok so they're following the s/b comic storyline chronologically, so that makes this a sequel to the public enemies movie. does that mean daly and conroy are coming back?
