Actually, I'd say yes. And I think there are 2 right now.

Yeah besides the recent "Checkout', Checkmate overall has been quite nicely self contained. The book is seriously underrated.

When did Willingham leave Shadowpact and why wasn't I aware of this development? I might have to pick up this book soon.

A lot of really interesting developments...of course, a lot of these books still sound stupid as poo, but some things are getting their groove back. After the recent dry spell, I'm almost afraid to get my hopes up again.

Really disappointed about the end of Aquaman. Guess we won't be seeing an Aquaman title in a long time now.

I'll pick up Outsiders anyway to get my Aquaman fix.

I didn't even notice Aquaman ending. Well that sucks. The new Tad Williams direction has been pretty crappy though, you gotta admit that.

We'll get him back in a few years with a big ol' story dramatically reintroducing Orin or somejunk.

Thor's comic has only been canceled twice. Captain America and Iron Man have worse track records than Thor in terms of cancelations.

Yay for Suicide Squad (both the mini as the collection), but I'm not too glad with the B&W format. Suicide Squad could be a tad dark in its coloring, so I'm not sure B&W will work to its favour.

Now that interests me. If that is supposed to be one of the Countdown issues...then good because the series has sucked so far. But judging by that cover I hope and think it will be a great issue.

they've done a decent job of showing the main characters within the books on the covers of the last couple that i've read.
