DC July 2006 Solicitations

The new Flash solicit looks interesting. Makes it at least seem like it'll be a known character being the Flash. Maybe Bart for real?

Is the JSA comic ending? Its solicitation makes it sound like it is, but I hoped it was just referring to that arc.

On a happier note, it looks like Churchill is not drawing Supergirl anymore. Now I can read it and see whether Rucka will make her a decent character.

Don't know if you noticed or not, but the solicitation has Joe Kelly writing it. I can't say for sure if this is a permanent change or just to give Rucka a break, but this is the third time I've seen Supergirl #8 in the monthly solicits, so something's apparently up. I also though Benes was supposed to be doing the art at least up until JLofA kicked up. Rucka or Kelly are both fine by me, I just wish they'd get this book straightened out.

And I think that JSA is just going to be relaunched as Justice Society of America in a couple months after JSA ends. It seems like I remember Didio saying Johns was coming back to JSA after Levitz' run, so hopefully he's just relaunching it with a new title to coincide with JLofA.

Really impressed by both the kubert's work
though i think they're both extremely talented I fought their last batch of marvel work was really "phoned in" looking.

I am sooooo excited about the batman titles coming. Morrison and dini, kubert and williams??? WOWWWEEEE!

Rucka or Kelly, both are fine with me. Just as long as Churchill or Turner or someone else who sucks isn't penciling the book, I'll give it a try.

The ASBARTBW Miller cover is probably the worse peice of professional comic book art, I have ever seen.

Yea, the whole relaunch thing is really just hearsay at this point. My main concern is if they are relaunching the book with a new #1 rather than just changing the title, it'll likely mean some type of change in the team members or something similar just for the sake of change.
