I forget, have I posted my list here? Does anyone care? What is the square root of Geoff Johns?

And what's on your list? I forget if you told me on MSN or something or not.

I put it on Facebook. You'd know if you really loved me. :waa:

I've decided to put together a list of what I'm planning on getting for DC's relaunch in September. I'll start out getting Action Comics, Animal Man, JLI, Static Shock, and Stormwatch on the 7th. Green Lantern on the 14th. Birds of Prey, Blue Beetle, DCU Presents, and Wonder Woman on the 21st. And finally, Aquaman, The Flash, GL New Guardians, and maaaaybe Superman on the 28th. Any comments or suggestions from the peanut gallery?

I saw the listing for Grifter #1, thought "hmm... why does that sound familiar?" and then laughed my ass off when I realized who it was.

The music doesn't fit the trailer, other than that, could be good.

They shoulda just did a WildCats book.

These trailers are just not doing it for me.

Bleeding Cool is reporting that other books that are ordering very well are Batman & Robin, Batwoman, Batman: The Dark Knight, and Red Lanterns, which have the potential to go over 100,000. Aquaman, Batgirl, Swamp Thing, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern: The New Guardians, and Green Lantern Corps, which have the potential to get very close to 100,000.

I guess I'm going to order some digital comics from them if they're releasing them the same day now. Never done it.

Do they have a bundle for the whole 52, I wonder?

:hal: :hal: :hal:

That Grifter trailer looks like it took 20 minutes in After Effects.

but I won't lie, the premise sounds kinda nifty to me. Hunting monsters only you can see? I know nothing about this character, was that what he was doing before?

Hawtness > practical :ninja:

I agree though the costume from Arkham City was definitely much better
I remember a lot of fans in the web hating the new costume too and how terrible it was, it also helps that i don't find psicho clowns atractive :cwink:

I will say that if they could get the entire trinity (only Bats sells good) & the most hated & ridiculed hero of all time probably; Aquaman (I'm a fan but I keep it real) to do GL & Batman numbers on the regular then I will actually be impressed. It will take a few months to see though.

His first few issues on the title weren't so good Womp :csad:
We have to assume that the mess that happened after Morrison left the book was because of the relaunch. I believe that Tomasi and the others just wrote some filler stories while focusing on their post relaunch stories. The first few pages from B&R #1 that were released were great.
Yes--and like Smallville's miserable iteration, it's ugly.
Am i the only one that thinks he looks cool compared to his caricaturish pre-relaunch self?

Fighting Daemonites? Yes.

Going all Rhodey Piper in They Live on them? No.

He was really more of a mix of Hawkeye and Nick Fury than what it looks like they're doing with him now.

Bleh as I keep looking at some of the solicits and covers so I've updated my list:

- Aquaman
- Justice League
- Savage Hawkman
- Justice League Dark
- Demon Knights
- Wonder Woman
- Batwoman
- O.M.A.C.
- Grifter
- Stormwatch (recently added)
- Men of War (recently added)
- Static Shock (recently added)
- Blue Beetle (recently added)

And I'm considering the get Frankenstein: Agent of S.H.A.D.E. as well almost. Only ones I'm getting in print though are my top 3.

Then don't watch em.
Why not? I'm a potential consumer. I have every right to watch the the trailers especially if I'm interested in said book. I'm also going to comment on them whether i like them or not. also, for that matter, I'm also going to comment on them regardless of if no one cares or wants to hear my opinions.

Why the f**k are you getting O.M.A.C.?!?

Because in the solicits it mentions Maxwell Lord running Checkmate and trying to hunt him down/at war with Brother Eye (who makes Kevin Kho O.M.A.C.). I wish I could see some panel previews, but the art also really has me hooked.

My only true problem with the commercials is the font they choose for the text of the few lines of dialogue they are trying to express/emphasize in the commercials. Looks odd.

Just trying to help you to stop wasting minutes of your life looking at crap you don't like. I'm helpful like that. :fhm:

The thing is I didn't feel like I wasted my time. I felt that they could've done a way better job at these trailers.
