I totally forgot that DC Universe Online existed :o

Also, more books have sold out through Diamond: Justice League International, Batman & Robin, and [blackout]Hawk & Dove[/blackout]

All that means is that comic shops ordered waaaayyy too many copies of a book that will clog up the discount bin for years to come.

Why would any self respecting comic shop owner over order on Hawk & Dove?

The whole thing makes little sense.

Either that or DC is fudging the numbers to simulate success. :o

Maybe Warner Bro. bought out the rest of the seats so there wouldn't be a blackout?

Oh wait.

:hal: :hal: :hal:

Ew.

I remember the owner of one of the comic book stores I go to was asking if I were a Liefeld fan (I kinda take a middle ground when it comes to Liefeld) back when they released their 52 preview booklet. He kinda sounded like there was some interest in the book.

You also have to take into account that maybe DC just didn't print enough copies of Hawk & Dove, expecting it to be one of their lower performers, and stores ordered more than expected.

Yeah well, If I were them, I wouldn't be in a rush to go back to print on those. :o

I don't know, some people like to watch train wrecks.

Yeah but liefield is worse.

Yeah.

He gives the train an abundance of pouches. :o

And he gives the train boobs.

When Liefeld is actually trying and not being a complete parody of himself, I actually don't mind reading a comic with him on art.

I think they should consider selling their comics for a break even price or even at a loss, and make the money back on movies and DTV movies.

Then I don't think I've ever seen him try.

Well It seems like the first week was a huge success. I hope this continue for the long haul. The comics industry needs this to work.

I'll bet DC is printing really low amounts of books that they know might need the publicity boost of being "sold out". That way, Hawk and Dove looks like people are buying it, when really they're only printing enough for shops to get 10 or so copies.

I've been hearing that Final Crisis was terrible but it doesn't seem that bad, Darksed is finally defeated and Batman seems bad ass in that comic

Everybodies opinions tend to be based on whether or not they like weird s**t.

Morrison ain't for everybody.....I guess that makes you awesome.

Those atributes of Grant Morrinson's stories not being for everybody and being wether or not peple like weird s*** are pratically the same atributes in Mark Miller's comics
