I've heard that more than just three times and I still don't really care. I can get my non-superhero fill elsewhere.
For those in crisis over Crisis, let me clarify. The topic of Crisis was much discussed among the editors and talent working on The New 52. With so many characters and histories restarting, major events like Crisis are harder to place when they work for some and not for others. (that was one of the problems coming out of the original Crisis). While we are starting aprx five years into our heroes lives, we are focused on the characters present and future, and past histories will be revealed as the stories dictate. Yes, there have been crisis in our characters lives, but they arent exactly the Crisis you read before, they cant be. Now, what this means for characters seen and unseen well, thats the fun of The New 52, infinite stories, infinite possibilities, with the best yet to come.
Thanks, as always for your interest and enthusiasm in The New 52. DD
P.S. thats the last time I try and answer a Facebook question before rushing out for dinner.![]()
I don't have a problem when events like infinite crisis retcon past events but when they decide to make a reboot with all the comics back to 1 things like this shouldn't happen

Well, maybe they started this whole new continuity because they didn't want to spend so much time worrying about continuity anymore!
Wait, what's happening here? Did I just defend DiDio?![]()

Unless it did. You don't knooooooowww....![]()

Pretty much. I can get other genres outside of comics.![]()

And yet most of the non-superhero or more vertigo-esque somewhat superhero books have been better than majority of the superhero books.
That's a bit of a limited stance to take. That's like saying, "I choose to watch romantic comedies and only romantic comedies, and refuse to look at any other movie genre. I can get my fill of horror and crime stories by reading novels." You're cutting yourself off from a whole range of quality stories you'd probably like based on a purely arbitrary self-exclusion.
