Batwoman, Demon Knights, and Frankenstein were all amazing yet again. Thank you, DC.

I'm totally missing something with those titles. I just don't read them and think, "Wow! I need to pick that up next month."

Detictive Comics, the 3 Green Lantern books, Supergirl, Animal Man and Stormwatch. There are other I might download but I can't afford them all, I might pick them up in trades if they are really good. Oh and I might flick through Justice League in the shop before I make up my final mind on that one.I think I might regret this, but what titles do you plan to get the #2s of?![]()
The hottest rumour burning down the pre-NYCC parties is that Gail Simone, co-writer of DC Relaunch title Fury Of Firestorm: The Nuclear Men with Ethan Van Sciver, has walked off the comic.
The reason being given by the Manhattan tittle tattlers is over editorial conflicts over the book, the kind of thing alluded to here.
This only applies to Firestorm however, this is not the case with the bestselling DC relaunch comic Batgirl, also written by Simone. But for many, Simone is not just a good writer, but seen as fighting the case for female creators and characters at the company. If indeed she has left the series over the reasons suggested, that wont play well for DC this week. Expect it to be a topic of converation at the DC party, certainly.
Because it seems that Simone did have plans for Firestorm, if this panel from todays Batgirl #2 is any indication
Professor Stein is alive?
Neither Gail nor Ethan returned emails. DC Comics declined to comment.
I'm stunned to be typing that, considering how much I hated robinson's JLA

That's not a good excuse.
No bad characters, just bad writers.

Also, for no reason, and exercise in taste. If you had to pick a JLA team that couldn't include any of the Big Seven, who would you pick?
Seven Heroes that were active and not dead or anything at that particular time. Go.
