DC Relaunching Everything? - Part 9

That's because you're a post-modernist. :o

Even as a really little kid I was always more of a fan of an armored Batman. The Batman Returns suit is still my favorite one of the bunch. And I really like how in the Arkham video games how they designed Batman outfit. He just looks cooler IMO.

I like the armored look, but I always think it makes Batman look a little weak. I mean, if anyone got a good look at him, they'd clearly see that he's a man in armor and his whole shadowy figure of the night routine kind of gets ruined. I always figured his armor should be subtler and be mostly concealed by a relatively clean-looking costume.

I like the idea of showing some of Batman's vulnerabilities. This is a guy who can get killed with a single bullet after all.

I always kind of liked the look he had in the animated series :)

I personally prefer the tshirt and jeans myself. :o

Same here girl.It really would look great in a Tv show.

Batman's supposed to be smart though.
Stephen Hawking is pretty smart too, but I'm pretty sure that a single bullet can kill him as well.

The look he had from the Animated Series was probably the only time I have been really fond of the blue/grey scheme with the yellow oval. However, while the rest of the TNBA designs were inferior, I prefered the TNBA design for Batman more than the BTAS one.

EDIT: Also the Scarecrow design in TNBA was better than the BTAS one.

Well yeah. Nothing will ever top that scarecrow design. Scared the **** out of me as a kid. ****ing frightening. I like the Batman look in the early Justice League seasons, with the big ears. Love those big ears.

That was probably the best costume design the Scarecrow ever had

It would be neat if they used that one in the comics as well

I am afraid for Smallville: Season 11. That book is very very good but it debuted at 96th last month and dropped down to 99 this month. I fear this may be the only season we get. Maybe one more.

I really doubt the prInt issue sales really matter much. That's the digital equivalent of a TPB.

Yeah, I think that CConn is right on this one. Smallville Season 11 is more of a digital initiative for DC so I don't think that they're too bothered by the print sales. Plus Smallville sucks anyhows.

I'm sorry but the Season 11 is killing it right now. I mean sure the TV show went to hell but the book is killing it.

Then he should have armor around his brain then.

First off, Stephen Hawking doesn't have enemies that want to kill him. (That he knows of...)

Second, my point is that showing your vulnerabilities to your opponents is the opposite of smart.

How do you think he ended up in the chair?

Met too, to be honest.

Also, Batman needs to drop the shiny armor--like, now. Capullo and company do a good job of it--they tone down the unnecessary lines and the suit has a material texture instead of looking like shiny metal--but in Justice League and some other appearances, it just looks wrong. As with pretty much everything Lee designed for the New 52, it looks ten times better when someone else has cleaned up the design. Case and point, Cliff Chiang on Wonder Woman versus Jim Lee on Wonder Woman. Justice League is scribble city.

Also, ditch the bat-head kneepads. They're junk.

And bring back the Bat-codpiece

How do you think he ended up in the chair?

Mirror, Mirror Hawking is Stephen Hawking's great nemesis. All that messing with the space/time continuum and black holes was bound to bring in an evil twin.

It's awesome. Season 11 may be the best yet, which is kind of sad since it WAS a tv show, but what can ya do? LOL.

The original Superman suit might have been goofy and a bit ridiculous, but it did basically start the superhero costume trend in superhero comics

That's the sad part and what most SV fans don't seem to understand is that show's rep has put a lot of people off to this book and it is a shame but this book is very good. I want to say it is the second best Superman book we have so far. But in the same I can see why people are so put off considering all the things SV has done including how some may not like how they are doing Batman.
