It's been over due for a while now.

Seriously there are A LOT of bow users I come across - not to mention Star City could be loads of fun. Especially since plenty of people including myself found Central to be a bit of a let down. Star should be free roam and give us players a new city to invade.

GA is red hot right now. TV show, new comic team, apart of the JLA. There needs to be a DLC and include baddies like Merlyn, Vertigo, Brick, etc. I mean we got STEEL for Legends but not GA?! C'mon.

Here's hoping.

The last time i played this i had to sit in a que for like 2 hours. is it still like that or have people moved on to better games?

Can't speak for others but for my League and I it doesn't take long at all. And we run 8v8 a lot.

I think jim lee has given Jens and the MMO division some autonomy while he focus's on other Dc ip titles like The new DC fighter nether realms on and what ever it is Rock steady is working on etc. they should do GA content, but I think fana will have to suggest that to him if he doesn't have plans for it yet him self . I hope he does. but you never know. Jens may have back log of planned stuff.

Also Gadgets will always be my baby. The best for PvP.

New DCUO lair livestream highlights themes and decorating possibilities

Just a few days ago, DC Universe Online's Creative Director Jens Andersen and Systems Designer Andrew Buschmann introduced folks to the new housing lairs in the upcoming, and aptly named, Home Turf DLC via livestream. Today, the duo was joined by Ben Naumann, lead environment artist, for a more in-depth foray into the themes, styles, and overall decorating possibilities of the housing system.

Three distinct themes (dive, art deco, and gothic) will be available for all players who purchase the DLC or who have legendary status, and four others (ancient, industrial, cave, and bunker) can be purchased. Lair trim and certain coloration of the themes matches your superhero's color scheme by default, but can be altered.

The trio also demonstrated decorating and teased viewers with a quick mention of a new amenity: the suit holder. Although there is still no exact release date for Home Turf, you can whet your appetite for what's to come by watching the entire stream after the break. Looks pretty cool. I fully expect the game to be glitch central as it always is with every DLC, lol. First day Hands of Fate came out PVE was a freakin' zoo for the open world part. People freezing like crazy.

Glad there's no release date for Home Turf yet because I need to renew my Legendary.

they sent me Email's during the Christmas period and the day after news years for Legendary. But I'm waiting on the beta codes for another MMO. So I couldn't do it.

Thanks bro.

Last time I played I switched one of my alts to Mental. (Gadgets is on my main) - Just crazy stuff since A) I was curious and had never tried it before and B) because I speced into a lot of Might. Needless to say I was happy with the result when I ran 2v2. I burned through people quite easily.

Yeah I might stick with it for awhile since this is alt used to be Hardlight. Hardlight just wasn't doing it for me but like Gadgets it hits hard for a DPS in PVP once you've figured it out. Not to mention the numbers in Raids are pretty wild. But the loadout I'm using for Mental has worked wonderfully so far.

Will probably try Nature next.

sorry not yet I'm planning to do the private beta for the marvel heroes MMo. chops has asked me to come back to dcuo but I have to see if I can make into the private beta for that. After that's done and over with I'll come back and you will be one of the first people I let know.

DC Universe Online understands that everyone, even mighty superheroes and dastardly supervillains, needs a place to call home. Home Turf, the upcoming DLC pack, will introduce custom player housing. Players will be able to pick from a variety of themes and hundreds of items to create a hidey hole that's unique to their tastes. As well as being a good place to plan operations and bask in the warm afterglow of success, players' bases will also be the site of 1:1 PvP matches. Nobody's Secret Sanctuary or Ha-Ha-Hacienda is perfectly safe, though: Player housing will include a "new combat dimension" to keep folks on their toes.

Ok, i need serious help here. I'm trying to do the Emergency at Ferris Aircraft mission, and I need to get to Coast city.....but how? It's not an alert or Arena, and despite what someone else told me it's not the teleporter in the Watchtower hangar. That's CENTRAL city. So how in the hell am I suppose to get to Coast city? I need help because I'm getting irritated.

It's not. It's listed as active in my journal but it gives me no way point and its no where in my on duty.

Checked the mighty internet. This is what I found.

There is a teleporter where flash is in the watchtower, but you need a combat rating of 53

Nope that's the teleporter to CENTRAL city. I've been looking all over about this for an hour, trust me. Nevermind, I found it, but my combat rating is too low

The combat rating stuff annoys me. There are tons of missions, I am not able to do, because I don't have a high enough combat rating. Well, to get a higher combat rating, I need better gear. To earn better gear, I need to earn tokens. And to earn tokens, I have to grind Missions like crazy. So after repeating 1-3 three missions, I'm getting fed up with the game again and put it on the back burner.
