This and marvel heroes omega( as the latter called now) are all about options so do as you please. it's why I love option's my self(when they are done well and benitfit the player and the makers alike. I do feel the need to give back now and then and I do feel the dev's good work and they do needs to be paid .

So I my self do it. that' me speaking for my self. But I also understand and respect others in what they want to do or need to do in their lives.

As long as your still having fun in this game, it's all good.

No one likes seeing numbers go down in an MMO. You work really hard to make sure your attack power goes as high as possible, and then suddenly one day you log in and find out that it’s lower than it used to be. That’s one of the changes coming with DC Universe Online’s most recent pass on stat revisions. However, that’s no need to be worried, as your actual output will not change. You may have 10% less attack power, but everything is scaled down by the same 10% to keep exponential stat scaling under control. So while it means a smaller number, it won’t affect your performance.Read more

Sometimes the arrival of a long-awaited, much-needed feature can make a small patch feel worthy of a tickertape parade.Perhaps that’s the case today with DC Universe Online’s Game Update 74.
It may not have a lot of new content, but what it does contain is a UI tweak that allows players to reallocate skill points on the fly.

The patch also tried its hand at a tuning pass for the recently instituted skill revamp to help balance things out more. Superheroes should also be pleased to hear that many NPCs’ health and damage output were nerfed. Rumors say it was kryptonite. Read more

For far too long, heroes and villains in DC Universe Online who wished to harness the power of water have had to make do with inelegant solutions such as driving a fire truck all over town, carrying arm-loads of water balloons, and having a utility belt full of squirt bottles for cats. But no longer; the new water powerset allows you to summon the force of water from your very fingertips, rather than forcing your villain to break into a building, turn on all the faucets, and then threaten people that the building is very gradually flooding if it’s sealed well on the lower floors.

Water can be used to deal damage or to heal because when you see a fire hose demonstrating the sheer force you can pack into water, you think, “Let that hit me so I’ll feel better.” Read more

The official announcement is titled “Changes coming to DC Universe Online for PlayStation 3,” but it’s really just one change for DC Universe Online. Specifically, that one change will be that the game is no longer available for the PlayStation 3.

If you’ve been getting by on nothing more than the aging console for your platform of choice, you will have to either upgrade to a newer console or wave farewell as of January 31st, 2018, as Daybreak says it’s planning to “focus [its] resources on further optimizing the game for PlayStation 4.”

On the bright side, migrating to PlayStation 4 means keeping all of your achievements, subscriptions, unlocks, and so forth as long as you use the same PSN account on both platforms. So you won’t actually lose any progress by upgrading. Still, Read more

Game Update 76 descends upon the gloomy superhero world of DC Universe Online today. The headline feature going live after the big ol’ maintenance?

That’d be the new artifacts system that’ll remind you a bit of similar systems in Lord of the Rings Online and World of Warcraft. “Artifacts is an exciting new system that will allow you to further up your stats and effectiveness within DCUO by collecting rare Artifact objects and ranking them up by feeding unique Reagent items into them.

Players above level 20 will now have access to a new instance titled ‘Artifacts: Oblivion Bar’ in the Events tab of the On Duty Menu. In this instance, tricky ol’ John Constantine himself will help guide you in getting started with these exciting new items. Artifacts can be accessed through the new ‘Artifacts’ tab in the Inventory menu, where Reagent items can be fed into them to raise their ranks until they reach milestone points.

Sometimes a small, singular change can make all of the difference in your MMO.

Yesterday’s update in DC Universe Online expanded players’ abilities to include a second artifact slot and upend the current gear builds. Getting a quick additional artifact to fill that slot is pretty easy, too: “Make sure you have completed ‘Artifacts: Oblivion Bar,’ the Artifacts introductory event, and make sure you have completed ‘Monitoring the Situation,’ the pointer mission for the anniversary event. Both reward your choice of one Artifact.”


There is a known issue with this update that’s causing some European PS4 players to be missing their membership benefits,

Hey! You there! Do you want a free tech-looking Batman costume in DC Universe Online? If your answer is yes (and it almost certainly is) you should already have gotten one, it’s a free gift for the game’s anniversary.

But if you haven’t gotten it yet, you should get in there and get on it, as the game is asking players to claim their free gifts by January 31st or watch them vanish forever.

Members also get separate free gifts, and there are old gifts available for those who need to fill out their collection.
