So far the only cities are metropolis and Gotham. The gl dlc only adds alerts or duos to zone into. Not a new city to run around. I think the flash dlc will be the same.

Actually, you *can* free-roam Central City, but not to the same scale as Metropolis and Gotham.

Outside the story, fans will also get to play around in a "large portion" (though not full-size like Gotham and Metropolis) of Central City, including seeing outside the vaunted Flash Museum. The new map will support around fifty players, and will have map-specific content and bounties.

that seems weird, they should build some new cities. but i guess baby steps. we should be able to visit oa, i know it's for gl's but i wanted to go there and fly around. also with the gl powers introduced they need to add the emblems and the green aura

Being in Central could be cool. I love the scope they gave Coast City despite not being able to actually visit it. I wish Central could be on a larger scale but I'm just thrilled we're getting this DLC.

Yeah there are a few bugs that can be quite annoying. I especially hate the one where you are stuck and can't move till someone hits you.

Hey guys, how do I best start with PvP gear?

So I got a question for those of you multiple characters. How did you feel about basically having to do everything all over again? Is becoming weak again and having to rebuild all the way up a drag?

Thankfully, I leveled up my 2 characters simultaneously. I don't think I could be lvl 1 again, the grind would kill me.

I personally just started playing..I don't find the grind is nearly as bad as a game like "WoW". However this game lacks majorly in other departments that "WoW" excels at.


It'll tie me over to Diablo III which should be my pride and joy.

Question - Are the "instances" more interesting? I'm currently level 12, and about to embark on the first instance, how many people do you need? What do you get out of them? I'm new to this whole MMORPG outside of WoW haven't really played many, and even WoW only did about...a 18 hour grind than realised my life would be sold to blizzard, if I didn't delete the beast.

I've only briefly dabbled in the "instances," but so far, I'm not interested. To me, it's a lot more fun developing my own character solo; the team-ups leave much to be desired, and playing as "name" heroes/villains seems kinda superfluous when you wind up with like eight Harley Quinns spam-fighting eight Robins in a confused melee.

What I'd prefer to see (and DCU doesn't have this....yet...) is the ability to use name heroes/villains on solo mini-missions. And still earn XP and items for *your* character vicariously through that hero/villain.

I've only been devoting all my time to one character....I just hit level 20 today.

I have another question as well. How do I properly start Alerts? When I go to which one I wanna do, and choose whether or not to be a control or damage player, it says "You are now queued", but then nothing happens. How do I get it to start?

You just have to wait until theres room in the alert. Sometimes it can take forever. Like it told me the next alert is read in 9 minutes, I had to wait half an hour. Stuff like that makes me glad I'm not subscribing.

Start with Legends matches only. Earn enough for for 2 - 3 pieces of PvP tier 1 gear. And mix it with the pre-tier gear that you can buy with cash.

Pre-tier - Cash.
Tier 1 - Influence.
Tier 2 - Marks of Conquest.

did they change the wanted requirements? i tried to kill bizarro at level 4 with a group but never got credit. i used to be able to show up and get some hits in then get credit at any level, that was like 2 wks ago too.

how in the hell do you group up with someone on your friends list?!? So that you are both in the same area and can see each other on screen, not just "group up." So friend an I beat the first mission and wanted to get together and kick some ass but his mentor was supes and my is the goddamn batman so we were in different cities and couldn't warp.

The best advice I can give to people looking to get through alerts, etc, the fastest is to join and good League. There are good League's out there that can help you que up really quick and assist in getting everything done. Plus the loot can all go to you depending how geared they are, most of the items they don't need.

The League I've been with for awhile now is called ULTIMATE JUSTICE and we run everything. Alerts, T2's, DUO's and we do Raids every Friday night. I got a lot of good stuff.

If you're on PS3 like I am then there should be like a mini menu when you click their name with the option to invite them in a group. If you're in the same area then they'll appear as a small blue dot on your map. The only way they don't is if you're in a different phase. Say he's in PVE and you in PVP.

/invite "player name"

He gets an invite.

Tell him to hit "enter" to join group, it will than ask him if he wants to join your phase, he hits yes to that too. You are now in the same "world".

From there, go the Watch Tower, and one of you take the hit, and go to the other persons mentor, you can get a lot of the same quests.


And you guys share the quests on some of them, some you don't.

But at least you get to play together...Make sure you guys are both PvE or PvP, a PvE can't party with a PvP player, we always have one guy in our group who doesn't make the same character and we sat there for 20 minutes figuring hy he can't join our phase.

Anyone have tips on how to beat Brother Blood? Dr.Fate, Raven, and Zatanna don't really seem to be helping out much....I can make it past Blood's three hordes of minions, but when it comes time to fight him, I don't have enough health to last longer than 2 minutes.
