Noob question, but can you buy the DLC packs through in game currency?

Nope.

Though with the amount of limitations the end game is getting harder and harder to do without subscribing.

Honestly, I would say play through the game until you reach the end game stuff, then make a decision about paying monthly for it. The majority of the DLC is only good if you're already at level 30 and have high level gear.

If one of the DLC powers interest you, then I say buy the pack it comes with and play for free, if you put at least $5 into the game you become a premium member which will easily let you enjoy the main game without hitting too many limits.

I have never found a need to have a crazy amount of storage. Once you unlock an item you can always change your current gear to look like the one you liked, but keep the higher level stats, so there is really no reason to hold onto older gear.

The only Premium limit that kind of sucks is after $5,000 your money gets banked, so you can only have $5,000 on your character, which is fine for everything in the game except the auction house.

you pick all the upcoming DlC for a certain few months and you have extra characters to create and gear like some drone's and I think some station cash to buy what you want like some characters in legends. they again I was a Legendary subscriber. so what I'm saying might be a tad off there.

You also need to be Legendary to unlock Trophies... which is kind of dumb.

I haven't played this for about a month and a half and have been actually thinking if I will in the coming months with the amount of new games that'll be arriving. I mean, I already know the hours that I'll be wasting between the four games in my sig, haha.

But really, last time I played DCUO I realized how much PVP pissed me off nowadays. I miss the days when it was all about skill. Now you have numerous boosted sodas or pets/"sidekicks" to help you out. It gives noobs a fighting chance. Hell, you can't even 1v1 someone without atleast 3 or more things coming at you.

I just find it really annoying. -_-

Don't they have those rules with restrictions like they Do in the Friday night legends video's? Set up some rules on how the fights should be done and it should balance stuff out there. Any way all that DLC in that video on top of you should be Awesome.

I dunno, like when I ask players for a clean 1v1 - mano a mano - they refuse. Like they know they're **** without all the "backup" or extra boost, lol. Granted there are some players who aren't so afraid of a good challenge, which is great.

It is not cancelled!
League halls will no longer be part of the DLC. These will be free for everyone.
Armories will no longer be part of the DLC. These will be free for everyone.
Armories will be used for saving specs, loadouts, gear and style appearances.
Additional armories will be available for purchase on the marketplace. It can be assumed these come with a limit of use.

Future DLC structure

Alternating between large group and small group content (example Home Turf is small group, Origin Crisis is large group, Sons of Trigon is small group).
Tier and Tier-steps are will be well thought through when implementing.
New Tiers (at least the next one) will be implemented in a small group DLC, so that people can gear up for the next large group DLC.
3 part story arcs for future DLC's - not necessarily in sequence



DLC9 - War of the Light part 1

Introducing Saint Walker and the Blue Lanterns
By the end of War of the Light part 3, they will have exhausted the Spectrum!
New full version of Metropolis - dedicated to War of the Light DLC's
Mogo comes into the battle
No mention of a powerset (will be tank if there is one)

I'll probably do F2P or maybe upgrade to the Premium subscription until my two characters are ranked up to the highest level then upgrade to Legendary for the DLC

I just counter those home turf sidekicks/back ups with my own. And ever since the Devs balanced them, they don't do much damage and pretty much die in 3 - 4 hits.

Update 28 has made PvP much faster. It has brought back skill into the PvP, a lot of whiners on the forums are crying because they can't use their easy button win anymore. I have fun stripping shields from Tanks now. t:

Gotham Waste land is bigger than Central City, but Mepps didn't say how big seems like he couldn't gauge it.


All DLC8 content is in Gotham wastelands - so u can access your duos/alerts right in Gotham wastelands


Two types of armour can be purchase with MoR.


One unique hero style and one unique villain style. You can get the opposing faction from the weekly raven bounty.


Meeps didn't want to comment on what styles trinkets, rings, necklaces, or weapons will be.


New movement mode coming inspired by Static Shock. (Devs could be trolling us)
