oh, and once I create a character, is there any way I could change my character's looks, powers, weapons style, etc.? or, am I stuck with what I chose initially and would have to start a new character?

I believe a power change is something you need to pay for with real money, but everything else can be changed with in-game currency. For weapons you can always just put a skill point into a new weapon type and equip it (you may need to be a certain level before you can do this, I can't remember).

also, have they said if we will be able to transfer and continue our PS3 characters onto the PS4?

No you can't equip both. Dual wield is two swords(or axes, whichever stlye of weapon you pick up), there's also one handed or shield...you cant combine them.

That's hard to say. No it's ok. As long as you're not having to delete some games you'd rather keep its fine.

so what's the difference between PvE and PvP??

Simple pvp is a mode where you fight other players which you que up for, Think of it as like when your playing injustice, but in a limited fashion. You have to have marks of legend and you have to have reached a certain level to do that it's in the watchtower and the Hall of Doom in the engineering section. Just follow oricale instructions when you reach there.

PVE is where you do your normal quests. These are case's/crimes and you team up with other players as heroes or villains to take down the heroes and villains of the DCU.

also, are there any good basic tutorials for the PS3 version of DCUO??

especially about the basic MMO mechanics??

I've never really played an MMO before.

You can only play as the regular DC heroes/villains in the legends PvP and that alone.

As for for creating it you just Que up as in signing up for it. There are certain times where you can start up pvp yourself and that's can be done in place like the park in metropous and with any number of players there. But that's with the character or characters you have created.


Oracle(Barbra Gorden ) is part of your tutorial she's with you from the start when you enter the MMO.

yeah. I tried getting into the game off and on in the past, but it just didn't interest me.

but when I saw they added the Celestial power set, that piqued my interest.

I always like to create holy knight/paladin type characters. So the Blessed Celestial powers seem to be right up my alley.

and I'm looking for a game to get me excited for the PS4, so I'm glad we can transfer our PS3 characters to the PS4.

Wow I didn't expect to see you here. Well the main head dev Jens explained some of it. It seems they weren't able to get a hold of her for some reason and they went with the woman that played super women which was her alternative in crisis on two earths the animated movie. Anyway both have played wonder woman well especially since one was sobbing till they could Susan Eisenberg in. I think they still have planned for the former one, maybe they might bring in super woman wonderwomans alternate counterpart in late Dec.

I realy hope they change how its downloaded for the PS4 version. This should be apart of PSN and not its own separate download client, meaning we can download it in the background while doing other stuff. I also hope it doesn't take nearly as long. I wonder how the visuals will be improved as well

They said it'll be on PSN. So there shouldn't be too much of a problem. And since the hard drive is bigger along with cloud there really shouldn't be an issue with the download. Cloud systems were originally made to deal with that problem of lack of hard drive space. When they were originally building it for PCs. That should still be the case.

HDD size has nothing to do with download speeds.

Sometimes it did (depending on the size of the download content) and in the other case's it didn't. But the download speed won't be that much of an issue as long as you have a good service provider which is the true issue at play for that. And if there's isn't anything wrong with the program from the start.

No it doesn't. Content doesn't download faster or slower depending on your HDD size. There are several factors that come into play and that isn't one of them.

I love this game so far. It's like City of Heroes/Villains but with hero/villains you actually care about.
