BTW, does anyone think the show was being meta when Rip complained that the actor he cast for Vandal Savage wasn't menacing enough?

I am 100% certain it was. The writers aren't *totally* blind to their mistakes and weaknesses.

Can't wait to see how involved their George Lucas is in this, should be cool.

I was kind of disappointed. He didn't seem very George Lucas like. Not that I'm claiming I know the man personally. but they had him freaking out too much.

A terrible ending. "Rip has been captured by the forces of evil but I think he'd want us to watch a movie rather than figure out a clever way to track him or something".
