Dead Rising 2, Possible trailer leak?

I was gonna get it, but it sounds like a total ripoff for $30. They should've released it as DLC for like $10 or $15 at most.

Well unless, you're a big DR fan. I'll probably get it for full price at Christmas, unless it has a price drop by then. Dead Rising's my second favorite new IP this gen, so it's worth it for me.

Though, I can see your point if you're not a DR fanboy.

I could see it getting a good discount on Black Friday or the week before Christmas. With Gears of War 3, Arkham City and Assassin's Creed Revelations, I'm waiting on this one. Definitely want to get it since I really like the franchise there's just games I'm anticipating more.

I dont think even if you are a big DR fan. I absolutely loved DR2 but this isnt worth $40. I encourage everyone to get it at a discounted rate

i'll wait for the game to drop to the $20-$30 range. Capcom has been pissing me off lately in how much they like to double, even triple, dip with their games. we've had 3 Street Fighter 4 games in the last 2 years, 2 Marvel vs Capcom 3 games in a year span, and now 2 Dead Rising 2 games.

looking forward to see how many Resident Evil: Operation Racoon City games they release

The only thing that would have made this worth he $40 for me was if they shipped it with Case Zero and Case West on the disc, since those never came to the PS3 before

I got it for 15€, and it's totally worth it, if only for the sandbox mode, which is awesome.

Stupid question of the day time. Dead Rising 2 & Dead Rising 2: Off the Record. 2 separate retail games?

yes, DR2 Off the Record is a kind of director's cut, but it's still a different game, that adds several new features.

To be honest, OTR should have been an expansion pack DLC. I didnt think it was that different to justify its own sepertate $40 release. Im really surpised Capcom hasnt re-released them as a GoTY edition package

Maybe it's because I got it for 15$, but I didn't feel robbed. The sandbox game alone is worth the price imo.

Great, thanks.

if you didn't get DR2, I would recommend to only buy off the record though, it should be enough!

Thread Bump. This game along with OTR and DR1 are being remastered and coming to PS4, XB1, and PC

Dead Rising will launch on PlayStation 4, Capcom has just confirmed to Eurogamer. But that's not all - it will also be released on Xbox One and PC.

Oh, and Dead Rising 2? That's headed to new consoles as well.

"Capcom will be bringing Dead Rising to Xbox One, PS4 and PC. In addition, Dead Rising 2 and Dead Rising 2: Off the Record will make their way onto Xbox One and PS4. We will have more news to share soon."

Off the Record was the version of DR2 which brought back Dead Rising 1's protagonist Frank West, which makes sense as he's the star of the show in DR1 and the upcoming DR4 on Xbox One and PC, also due this year.

That is good, that means we could get DR3 and 4 too for ps4.

there's no need since DR4 is DR3 with added content.

what are you talking about? They are two different games. You can correct me if Im wrong but Im not under the impression that DR4 is like DR2:OTR for example which was a very similar game to DR2 with the big difference being a new character

nah Dr4 is a remake of the First game and it's protagnist with added stuff. I messed that part up. . DR3 is still it's own thing

Dead-Rising-Triple-Pack-Xbox-Store-Listing.jpg

The Xbox Store has gone up with listings for the previously confirmed remasters of Dead Rising, Dead Rising 2, and Dead Rising 2: Off the Record. (There’s even a Dead Rising Triple Pack including all three.)

All three games are listed for release on September 13.

Get details about each game below.
Dead Rising
Frank West, a freelance photojournalist on the hunt for the scoop of a lifetime, pursues a juicy lead to a small suburban town only to find that it is being overrun by zombies! He escapes to the local shopping mall thinking it will be a bastion of safety, but it turns out to be anything but. It’s a true struggle to survive the endless stream of enemies, but with full reign over an entire shopping center, Frank can utilize anything to fight off the flesh-hungry mob and search for the truth behind the horrendous epidemic.

Dead Rising 2
In the sequel to Dead Rising, players step into the shoes of Chuck Greene, professional motorcycle racer. Surrounded by a horde of hungry zombies in the spectacular casino town of Fortune City, Chuck finds himself in a race against time to find Zombrex, the one thing that can keep Katey, his young daughter, alive. Can he protect her and make it out of Fortune City alive?

Dead Rising 2: Off the Record
Photojournalist and original hero of Dead Rising’s Willamette incident, Frank West, takes center stage once again in Dead Rising 2: Off the Record. Forget what you know about Dead Rising 2, as players will experience a reimagining of the Fortune City outbreak. The new ‘Off the Record’ storyline means an all new Dead Rising 2 experience, where Frank faces off against hordes of twisted enemies, builds more outrageous combo weapons, follows his own unique mission structure, and explores brand new areas of Fortune City to get his biggest scoop yet. Join Frank as he indulges in the insanity of ‘Uranus Zone’, Fortune City’s very own theme park. Full of deadly rides and crazy attractions, the sci-fi themed Uranus Zone is a true zombie-killing paradise. Fans have asked for it and now Dead Rising 2: Off the Record delivers a fully realized Sandbox Mode! Available from the outset, players can now explore all Fortune City has to offer without having to worry about the clock.

So the collection will get a physical release but it wont be complete as OTR is not included. Doesnt even appear as if it will be a DLC code, but an actual seperate purchase on PSN if you want it all. Odd. Also no mention of Case West or Case Zero
