I'm confused about the costume. It looks like leather in all the set photos, but on the EW cover, it looks more like really sturdy cloth; sort of like the Netflix Daredevil suit. Anyone know what the material is for sure?

I've no idea. I assume it's made of cloth, but the texture and most light sources make it look like leather from a distance. Or, more simply, different parts of the suit are just made up of different materials.

Wow, Negasonic got a legit X-men team costume. One of the best for the whole franchise.

Not a single thing so far has made me think this movie will be bad in any way.

It has to be some sort of trap.

The only thing I'm concerned by is the director, which is, admittedly, a pretty big thing to be concerned about.

Yeah, that's probably the case. The black parts of the costume definitely appear to be leather, but it's weird that the red sections look like leather from a distance but apparently aren't.

I haven't read the leaked script and won't, but does this story focus around NTW being super important? She seems pretty important based on some of the photos we've seen of her and Deadpool. Pretty cool to see so many different characters involved in this story.

She wasn't in the 2010 script draft at all
