I love how they incorporated the 'test footage' or scenes based on it in that trailer, like him on the bridge bopping along to music to dropping into the SUV and fighting the guys and it flipping over and over, and the comment about why he wears the red suit. This movie is gonna be AWESOME cannot wait to see it.

I'm not one of those who felt this trailer was incredible, but I think the movie is going to kick ass and be really fun.

For a first time director, Tim Miller seems to have the action scenes down pretty good.

-Dig at the GL movie, NICE!
-Colossus looks fantastic (I'd like to here him talk at some point).
-Curious about Nagasonic Teenage Warhead (I know next to nothing about her).
-TJ Miller looks, like TJ Miller. It's amusing to see him in this Hard-R film and then imagine him doing voice work for How to Train Your Dragon, (fun family films).
-Morena Baccarin looks amazing as always (although I hope that they give her more to do than just be Wade's love interest).

All in all, it looks good.

Pretty good trailer. I'm not head over heels. I do like the clear action scenes.

[BLACKOUT]Killebrew[/BLACKOUT] should and probably will be behind it all, which matches to the comics.

Originally in the comics Wade applied for Weapon X after he found out about his cancer but was rejected, and then was sent to the workshop where Ajax tortures him. But Ajax [BLACKOUT]works for Dr Killebrew. [/BLACKOUT] So Weapon X can still be here, it's not what created Deadpool.

So Wade Wilson wasn't previously a mutant in any incarnation of the character before undergoing his treatments to become Deadpool?

Shame he can't show up on Daredevil.

The director Tim Miller said he called Daniel Cudmore about playing Colossus in Deadpool and he turned it down.

The genre really needs a shot in the arm with something different and after looking at this trailer this might be the film to do it.

I agree 100%. I'm an MCU kind of guy, but this looks like a breath of fresh air.

Doubt it. More than likely they'll just leave the most vulgar stuff out of promos. The didn't include the Liefeld clip in the trailer either.

I imagine it might be an unfinished VFX shot, as at SDCC it was a wide-angle shot of Deadpool on the freeway with Colossus. Tim Miller says:

This version had to be shorter, for whatever reason, so the things that got taken out were a couple of real in-joke things that, again, wouldn’t necessarily play to a general audience. Stan Lee was in the Comic-Con trailer, and there was another shot with Rob Liefeld, Deadpool’s creator. Those moments were for the Comic-Con fans.
