Yeah Dex and Issak in the bar was the best part of the episode. It's a shame the two of them can't just kiss and make up.

Doakes got exploded. LOL, I don't think he's coming back anytime soon, at least not without a lot of Frankenstien stitches.

The Dexter/Isaak scene was the highlight of the episode, maybe even the season so far. It's such a great, complex relationship, and Ray Stevenson is KILLING IT in that role. He's awesome. I almost wanted him to concede defeat and have the two of them become buds.

Yeah, that was definitely a great scene. I honestly though Victor was going to turn out to be Isaak's son.

I think they do become friends. Well kinda the punisher will kill Hannah and they will be even. This is just a guess, but the way things have been going anything can happen.

This episode was amazing, it took all of the emotional tension building up and just ran with it. That final conversation with Isaak was great, I appreciated that Dexter was totally unrepentant.

Also the Deb loves Dexter reveal actually felt like a good payoff, especially with her admitting it was disgusting and Dexter's completely shocked and repulsed expression as it played out.

Can't wait to see how this plays out now that it looks like we're pulling into the final act of this season's story.

With all this going down I have no idea where next season is going to go. This season has been my favourite, all the pieces have fit together nicely. I'm still hoping Hannah and Dex make it through this.

I hope so too! As for next season, let's see how this one will end first of all!

So the final episode of this season is titled "Suprise, Mother****er!". Could we see the return of DOAKES?!!!? Pleeease Showtime make it happen!

Although I believe it's more of LaGuerta being 100% sure Dex killed Doakes and that hes the butcher and somehow will turn against Dex! Remember that Dex said he will handle LaGuerta, but so far he didn't do anything about it. He has a lot on his plate and I kinda like it. Anyway EXCELLENT title for the last ep!!!

maybe in a 'ghost' like style... like Harry... but I think it is LaGuerta that says it this time.

Another way LaGuerta is onto Dex is because of the motorpool records, IIRC.

lol speaking of "ghosts" imagine Dexter is having sex with Hannah then suddenly Doakes face appears and he says "SURPRISE MOTHERF****R!!!"

Absolutely true, funny but true! Dexter hasn't even spent time or saw the kids since Rita died, I don't remember it. Maybe once? But to be honest I'm not upset about it, not a big fan of Astor & Cody anywaY. And Astor slowly turns into a spoiled brat imo.

Dexter has Isaak, LaGuerta is onto Dex... Deb finds out about Laguerta going after Dex (very season 1 style when Dex figures out about Brian being the ITK) and LaGuerta catches dex 'Surprise Mother****er!', Deb walk in.. kills LaGuerta.

What is making me rethink that, the fact that I think Hannah is pregnant. Too familiar of when Rita got prego. But if Isaak kills a preg hannah, dexter just might finally lose control of his dark passenger.

Highly enjoyed this episode because of the bar scene and finally addressing Deb's feeling for Dex. Poor Deb, her love life is always so complicated.

Having all the kids come back in was so bad that it's good. They disappear for two seasons and all of a sudden we're suppose to buy that Dex is a father figure to them.

I think that a lot of the issues this season has can be easily glanced over because of the high calibre of acting we've seen from the whole cast. I don't think there has been one weak performance.

On another note I also think each episode has upped the last one and it looks to continue into next weeks as well.

Just realized the whole Deb/Dex thing is kind of meta with her confessing her love to him, then saying not anymore etc. Considering both actors personal lives. Must be weird for both of them if they continue further down this road.

It is great acting on Carpenter's part, she's the highlight to me this season along with Stevenson. But one wonders if any of that came from personal experience.
