Dexter - Part 3

Since the first season I've always thought that the only logical direction for the show is an eventual trial but I just don't see it happening.

im not seeing a trial either...this isn't Law and Order... seems like a very dull and stupid direction to go, especially for a whole season.

I think this season ends with a big ass cliffhanger.

How else the show gonna end? Next season is he just gonna keep killing people and get away? Nah. He needs to have a messed up ending. I'd like to see Dex on trial. It would be classic.

dexter didnt kill isaak... and Laguerta knows about Dex next episode (judging by previews).... oh and I doubt Hannah kept any type of baby in her after being stabbed and ****.

This episode was great but I'm worried they've shot their load; what the hell else is going to happen for the next 3 episodes? I'm glad they didn't drag things out I suppose, but this lame ass arsonist serial killer crap is filler garbage of the worst kind. Tainted an otherwise fantastic episode, and I got really pissed when the preview for next week appears to be all about that.

eh, it just depends on how the arson killer story arc ends... i think its what sets off the final 2 episodes.

Someone else brought up a good point that they've basically either finished or ignored all the decent storylines in favor of lame ones that no one gives a **** about. This season has been great because they've finally adressed all the various issues between Dex & Deb, Issac was a great foil, and Hannah has been a decent love interest(certainly miles above **** like Lumen).

Unfortunately Issac is now gone and the initial wow factor and uncertainty of most of the Deb and Hannah elements are played out. So now we're left with the thrilling threads of Cuban missle crisis(obviously finding out Dexter is essential and awesome to how the show ends, but ... Laguerta? Really? Doakes was better than this, Peter Weller was better than this, Quinn was better than this), Batista's restaurant(the ****?), Arson killer(seriously? this late in the game we're going to introduce a new killer?), and Quinn's misadventures with the mob and his stripper(WHY WAS HIS ENTIRE PLOT LINE WITH DEXTER DROPPED? THEY LITERALLY HAVE NOT SPOKE A WORD TO EACHOTHER FOR 2 SEASONS).

Anyway, this has been a great season so far, but given how quickly I know the show can go to **** I have to say I have very little faith in it. I'm hopeful, but won't be surprised if they bungle it up.

Lol, basically how I feel. All I'm interested in now is where they take Deb and how Dex/Deb is gonna keep LaGuerta quiet and now it seems Matthews also.

I was hoping Hannah would bleed out which would throw Dexter in a rage to kill Isaak.

i really don't think this arson killer is that big of a deal... dies next episode, but sets things in motion...

not to mention, nearly EVERYTHING has been brought back this season... i think Quinn and Dex will be crossing paths again...very soon.

Remains to be seen, was a bit surprised that there will be a new serial killer, right now, before the end. Didn't expected it, but whether its good or not, you cannot know by now. It remains to be seen like I said.

Tbh his story was the least of my interests this season.

Pretty sure that the showrunners said that they weren't having a big bad that runs through the season, instead it would be smaller bad guys which so far makes sense, we started with the Season with Speltzer, moved onto Isakk and now we've got the Arsonist.

I'm looking forward to the rest of the season, I mean yeah some really compelling storylines have finished but after how the writers approached what we've watched so far I trust that the rest of the season will be just as good.

I like this new Debra, how she is pretending to be accepting but inside she is like 'WTF'. She's on Dexter's side till the end now I think. However from the preview of next week I'm feeling like Hannah might be having second thoughts about Dexter.

rita was a way for a normal life but he had to hide and lie about everything and put her in danger

lila was obsessed with his lifestyle and became psychotic
