Ah alright.
Looks like anything can happen this season. They've opened up the field pretty good.

lol, and then because Dex is trying to live a normal life again he passes up the opportunity to kill Ray Stevenson. Stevenson winds up killing Deb, and then Dex is back to normal for the season 8 premiere. Yay!

The writers has the opportunity to really step up now, I just think it'll be interesting if they went with him helping Deb, by following and obeying the law since it'd be noteworthy if Isaak's the first villain in the series' history that doesn't end up being killed by Dex, instead actually do get arrested but who knows what the writers has in plans, as long it doesn't follow a too familiar patterns like the previous seasons then it'll be fine for me.

Yeah, I can't see Deb dying either. She's been there from the start and is too much a part of Dex's life story.

Well now that her and MCH are divorced and he has an EP credit on the show now I wouldn't put Deb's death past them. It would def shock everyone and since she is his main anchor I could see a balls to the wall last season. Imagine if you will that LaGuerta finds out the secret around the time of Deb's death and blames Dex. The last season is just a statewide manhunt and Dex still trying to fulfil his needs

I don't want to see that at all. Dexter trying to still kill people while being on the run? Nah just doesn't seem like it could be taken seriously, at least to me. I've always thought that that's one of the only logical ways the story could go but I still don't see it happening.

i was thinking it was gonna be louis...

maybe if dexter fell in love again it should be with a serial killer. Then out of love he has to forgive that serial killer like his sister forgives him.

I was thinking the same exact thing, from what I remember he was pretty much his arch rival in the books. It would be only fitting for his last kill to be an original from the books.

I liked Danco, and the villain from Double Dexter (well mostly)... I wouldnt mind a kind of mix of the two.

yea, no way in hell. but would be a crazy way for the series to go out with a crazy ass bang.

I want Dexter to cut Laguerta into pieces. garbage bag the b****.

i think the final big bad is going to be the FBI with a mix of ITK copy cat, who is in some way knowledgeable about Dex. but framing Dex for the ITK killings, ending with a 'did dex die, get caught, or escape?' feeling. but the final scene shows which happened.

just my idea.

I still think the Captain has known about Dexter.

Loving this season so far. Love the English dude, he has quite the presence. I would have liked LLouis to of been more of a character, but seeing him get completely f-ed by Dexter was great! It was like watching a cat play with a mouse!

The only thing that I am completely behind is Dexter's lack of control after not killing. He with over a month of not killing between season 1-2 he wasn't that on edge. He seems to be de-evolving.

agreed... always thought he either had a hand in it, or knew and out of love for harry kept it under wraps.

absolutely. i think matthews knows everything. if he comes back that is... it is quite clever of him to have Dexter examine his own blood slides.

Id like to see something like that with Matthews. Could be cool.

yea the finale title is hilarious... i mentioned this theory before... just in case...

LaGuerta is on to Dex, tracks him to his next kill... Deb knows she is going after him... Laguerta walks in on the 'kill room' (very Book 1-ish) and is about to arrest Dex... Deb comes in and either kills Laguerta (very book 1 like with ITK doing it), or we get a cliffhanger with us not knowing what Deb decides.

Deb killing LaGuerta to protect Dexter is the way I'd like for it to go.

Well of course but it would have to be a situation where if Deb didn't do it LaGuerta would expose Dexter. So its either she crosses the line or lose her brother.
