Dexter - Part 3

Hannah at least in one instance made Dexter question his use of his "dark passenger" as an excuse for the way he is and actually accept some responsibility for who he is and what he does.

So did anybody get that Arthur Curry reference?

I was literally on the edge of my seat for that entire episode. Wow.

I had a feeling it come down to Deb making that choice. Still, pretty disturbing how she [blackout]shot LaGuerta then ran over to hold her body[/blackout].

I wonder, though, about Deb [blackout]using her gun to shoot LaGuerta. Unless her gun is the same as Maria's, like a standard issue firearm for Lieutenants and Captains, could it have obstructed Dexter's plan?[/blackout]

Probably doesn't matter, given how we're guided to believe it worked out.

Also, LOL @ Quinn. Total waste of a storyline this season. But overall, better than 5 and possibly better than 4 as well.

Yeah I got the Arthur Curry reference (the alias that Dexter used on what's his name's ex-wife)

On the actual finale. It was good. Kept me on the edge of the seat.

What is up with Quinn? They really have no idea what to do huh? I thought that scene with Angel's sister was gonna lead to something. (EDIT)

If anybody has a link to the podcast wrap up that'd be totally awesome

[BLACKOUT]what do you mean is she dead? she it shown escaping hospital and putting flowers at dexter's door[/BLACKOUT]

what podcast are you guys talking about? the interview with Scott Buck at the end of the episode?

Like others have said there is too much circumstantial evidence now. LaGuerta just happens to die off as she is closing in on Dexter just like Doakes? Debra and Dexter were not at the party at around the same time that she went and got herself killed and there should be a record of Deb asking where LaGuerta was going.

I don't see how the last season can play out as anything other than Dexter is hunted down by law enforcement.

The only thing I can think of now is that Hannah ran off to "Argentina" for a possible reunion with Dexter should he be FORCED to go on the run.

Also dissapointed by Hannah turning out to be the poisoner, it just makes her look silly considering that Deb's ace in the hole would have been torn apart by a halfway decent defense attorney.

The evidence LaGuerta got from Dexters trash... wasn't that obtained illegally?

Maybe, Dexter got that evidence thrown out either way.

Also having Doakes back for a episode was amazing, made me realize how much I missed him.

I think pretty much agrees with that.

On another note: It sucks that this is the first time Ive seen him acting since his death

I wouldnt mind more flashbacks to things that happened before season 1.... that was AWESOME. Loved every bit of it. Doakes actually liked Dexter until he realized hes a ****ing weirdo

old interview, but fun to see Erik King talking about Dexter.

So just thinking back on this season I liked it but it was nowhere near S1 and S2 maybe on par with S4 and ahead of the rest.

There was a lot of weaker moments but they managed to deliver some really great one's.

Dexter and Deb are going to be the focus of a LOT of suspicion, or at least they should.

It seems very fortunate that
LaGuerta didn't call for any backup. I guess her credibility was shot at that point, and most of the cops were at Angel's party, but it seemed like an oversight on her part to just rush to the crate without letting anybody know.

I thought about that but I guess she didn't want to **** what was left of her career, which she still cared about, on a bogus call...

Of course Hector would have been a ace in the hole and her taking the risk struck me as really odd, especially considering how dangerous she knew Dexter was.

TBH, I feel like LaGuerta got the shaft this entire season.

Masuka, Batista, and even Quinn are a waste of space.

after this finale... i'm about to watch it again...but season wise..

2,1,4/7,3,5,6

I really would have liked a final conversation between the two of them after Dexter had injected her. The real fun of the Dexter revelation scene is the other character getting to see him in serial killer mode and she never got to really face off against him.
