Four for four so far with Resurrection, and more so with this new cast of characters. Harrison continues to be more interesting here than he ever was in New Blood.

Agreed on all counts. I'm enjoying this very much. :D Hope it holds up the rest of the season.

Again, without going too much into detail on this week's episode, the callbacks to Original Sin are much appreciated, and it's great that in addition to the original series, Dexter now has a prequel series that it can call upon for material during Dexter's youth.

Ok, so I saw all eight seasons of Dexter back in the day, and I wasn't thrilled about the ending so I ignored the revival a few years ago.
But I got Paramount+ recently so I decided to watch New Blood (I really liked it!) but now I'm in full fan mode again with Resurrection. It made me realize how much I used to like the show and I'm back on the hype train. The ending of the latest episode was simply fantastic. Hope they continue with it. Harrison is a great addition and the actors they got for this season? Wow.

Dexter: Original Sin was pretty good, too.

I forgot to mention that, yes. I started watching it too (just on episode 3). I like the updated opening credits from the original run.

Episode 6's ending absolutely caught me off guard! My reaction was the same as Dexter's, and I'm glad that the writers still have ways to keep us on our toes. Hoping this can stick the landing because it's been a fun ride so far.

Same I was like :wow:

Oh man episode 7. The writing for this season has been off the charts.

Madre de Dios, that scene between
Dexter and Batista
is something that's been long awaited, even before New Blood, I feel, and I am curious to see how this plays out going forward. Resurrection delivered another winner and I truly hope that it sticks the landing at the end. They're truly finding creative, in-character ways in how Dexter deals with and ingratiates himself with the other serial killers.

And again, Harrison continues to be way more interesting than he was in True Blood.

Half way through the season and...Sorry - i don't like what i see so far.
It got a little better after episode 4, but yet... I think they should have let Dexter die.

I don't know, I think the show has been great so far.

It's a lot better than New Blood, at least.

Right?

I love it when Dexter goes all dark with those serious, evil creepy eyes! You know he means business!

Awesome, was pleasantly surprised how much I enjoyed Original Sin!

Bummer, I really enjoyed OS! :csad:

I liked both OS and Resurrection thus far. Glad at least Resurrection looks to continue

Well, that's unfortunate because Original Sin was such a surprise and surpassed any expectations that I had for it. I would've easily welcomed a second season, and if Resurrection ends up getting a second season, I suppose that's a consolation prize.

There was still plenty to explore in Original Sin, more so with Brian still being around, not to mention the actors, especially Molly Brown (Deb) speak so highly about the show, but alas. It was a fun trip back in time.

with this cancellation, the Gellar-curse is still intact. Just when I thought it was broken.
