Indeed, plus it would be a great scene to see Angel on Dexters table as the shock that Angel would go through to discover that Dexter was the Bay Harbor Butcher all along.

I don't really want to see Angel die. I like him. I just don't like where they went with him.

Hard to see it happening though, Batista's an idiot, but he's surely no killer.

They sure are setting him up to do it in a moment of passion/rage, it doesn't have to be premeditated...

Seasons 1-3 Angel I wouldn't want on the table but now I wouldn't mind.

The show hasn't presented Dexter with having to kill off any of the main cast in prior seasons though. It appears that a theme of the show is that anyone who gets close to Dexter suffers but not by his knife.

I just think this is a storyline to give Batista and Laguerta something to do - while unintentionally kick starting the war against Dexter (by Quinn).

I thought Luman was going to go ape **** at the airport during the pat down scene!

I'm curious as to why Dexter didn't kill that guy who was on parole regardless of whether he was one of Luman's perps or not, the guy was scum....? He even told Dex that once he gets off parole, he's heading up north to starting doing what he does again.

I almost thought for a second she was enjoying the pat down...in a sick kind of way.

Yeah I thought that too, plus it's just sloppy to needle the guy and then dump him back a bit later. Someone should have actually seen that.

Based on last night's episode, i figured the story plotline between Angel and Laguerta was to introduce the cop that was on the take and now hired by Quinn

Yeah exactly. And now things get very interesting as Dexter has Robocop on his ass.

For sure.

has anyone seen the preview for the next episode?

Holy goddamn f***, Dexter's kill screw-ups are just getting way out of hand now.

I beg the question that Harry will no doubt be asking.

has he learned NOTHING?

I love how the previews trick us into actually thinking Dexter might be in some sort of trouble this time around...

^This show is famous for misleading previews thru slick editing...

I'm very impressed by Julia's preformance. Great body of work. The ticks are just spot on. Just as I said it about Lithgow last year, she can fight for Supporting Globe and Guest Emmy. Good for her.

PS: Also I might say that Michael is at he's best this season.

This season really pales in comparison to all others (the first 5 episodes, at least). There is nary an interesting storyline.

I think it's just a matter of getting Dexter through losing Rita, and trying to be a father, and worrying if Harrison will in fact be affected down the road. I think every show needs something of a transitional season where it's just a collection of things going on without there being one big story to resolve by the end of the season.

Last season with Trinity just took things further than they had been in the past, and you kind of need to come down from that.

I'm pretty interested in Lumen's subplot. Deb and Quinn, not so much. Quinn hunting Dex, now that it looks like he's only interested in taking Dex down out of some petty mutual disgust they feel for each other, has lost my interest. But Dex dealing with his new status quo as a single dad and possibly stumbling onto a whole network of killers via Lumen has me intrigued.
