I thought she was going to go ape **** during the pat down, get arrested, then the police would discover the scars/cuts all over her back and then start investigating...ultimately, endangering her connection to Dexter, as he had just told her his real name.

I think that's what we all thought was going to happen during the patdown, that was great misdirection on the show's part. I really like where they're going with Dex and Lumen, i think what Dexter needs right now is to be with someone who is equally as damaged as he is.

Dexter should have never told her his real name, but from what i go in the airport scene between them two seemed to me Dexter in some shape or form likes Lumen

"you can call me if you want to talk about it"

"you're welcome"

As in he's interested in her romantically? I just think he empathizes with her. He's got his own secrets, after all.

When you think about it though at first glance Lumen is the perfect thing for Dexter to have in his life right now but just on the surface, her thirst for revenge is too great. I just NEVER want to see her on the table after going *****nuts like Lila. I think Lumen and Dexter, while maybe not a romantic one, should develope some type of relationship though. We need to finally see Dexter train somebody and do it right for once or at least something close to it

More like a fatherly/daughter kind of relationship? That could work...especially as he most likely (but doesn't understand) he has this undying need to "save" someone because he couldn't save Rita.

Dexter in a way is becoming more human like

Harrison has definately been playing a crucial role in this and as the season progresses i think Lumen will play a part in it as well

the past 2 episodes have been pretty weak, but still good. this Sunday's though looks awesome!

Still, their "weak" episodes are better than most of the rubbish on tv!

Good episode on Sunday night. I thought Laguerta was giving bjs to that one guy. Glad she was just working undercover in a sting operation. I'm liking the Dexter and Lumen storyline. I think it's interesting. The Quinn storyline feels rehashed from season 2 so I hope it ends differently.

Amen dude, this show is incredibly consistent with delivering quality episodes even the "lackluster" ones. I remember thinking the same thing around this time last season, that the episodes were uneventful, and then the Thanksgiving episode blew me the ****away and it was all uphill from there. I'm sure things will pick up in due time.

Oh god, that Thanksgiving episode

I really hope we have another one of those this season!

There's something fishy there, though. Angel was in the right about being suspcious. I mean, she helped catch a dirty (...Robo...)cop that she apparently knew well enough that he himself (Robo..) couldn't believe that she had turned on him. And she helped catch him in a motel room? And it all started because of a bj comment from another cop?

I dunno, I think they're going to axe the relationship by the end of this season with her past being the conflict for it. Which I guess could mean they'll restart her awkard sexual advances on Dexter like in season 1.

I totally still think Laguerta's blowing that guy. Sure, they also organized a sting operation, but I don't think his bringing up the ******* subject was a total red herring.

Yeah, whatever's going to happen and however the marriage will end...it'll pretty much have something to do with her blowing a guy...or guys. Even if her past with Doakes, and other cops in the department...maybe even Robocop...Angel will get mega pissed at it. And then, boom goes the dynamite.

Unless he brought it up either to blackmail her into helping take down someone she apparently knew well, or he brought it up because that's what she did to Robocop.
