Good news about the new show runner for the next season.

I like Jen and I like her portrayal of Deb. She and Dex are my fave characters, next to Batista and Quinn. I hope Lagureta gets killed off b/c that is what happens in the first book. I was a little disappointed in the season finale. Deb should have found out by now about Dex.

Seriously, Michael Hall hopped from one wife to the next(being married to someone else, then divorcing her in 2007 and going right to Carpenter), and it was obviously due to their involvement on the show. So there's a precedent for it happening with him before. In my experience people's habits when it comes to things like that don't change a whole lot. Sure, there's a good chance that it's all Hollywood gossip and rumors.. but one does have to wonder where they came from.

The most suspect thing is that Stiles, who herself admits to usually being "private," would so quickly issue a statement about this. If it were just harmless tabloid garbage.. then really, why do it at all? Part of the Hollywood life is knowing that comes with it. It seems to me we'd be getting denials of things in the tabloids left and right every day by thousands of stars if they all were issuing statements when being accused of gossip.

It was in a local paper, it stated that the two of them had been gone together to a Halloween part together and spend most of the night holding hands.

Well...it is and it isnt. I mean at the end of the day, they're actors sure, but they're also human beings. When your being intimate with someone onscreen, yeah your "pretending" to be intimate with them but theres still a significant level of realness to it. When two people kiss or make out on screen, theyre not pretending to kiss or make out...theyre really doing it. You cant fake that. So with that in mind, i dont really blame actors and actresses who fall for each other onset because it must be extremely difficult to fake intimacy with someone and not have it spill over into real life.

It felt like MCH and JS had a bit of chemistry on the set. Even though JS confirms she has nothing to do with the breakout, I'm sure MCH and JS will hook, they make a good pair......... so JC lol

I guess we'll never know the truth behind the split between MCH and JC for now but as time goes by, the truth will find its way out in the open.

As for Deb finding out about Dex, she does find out in the first book. The difference between the book and the show are:

Book- The part when she's lying on the table wrapped in plastic wrap, her eyes are open while Rudy who thinks that Dex should be the one to kill Deb. That is how she finds out that he is a serial killer.

I have not read the other books but knowing Dex's secret, she's torn between her love for her brother and her duty as a cop.

Tv. Show- Her eyes are not open. She doesn't know that Dex is a serial killer...and still she doesn't know yet! If season 6 is the last one, then Deb has to find out eventually. If it goes on for another season, then next season could be her finding out the truth about Dex and season 7 could be about how she deals with with the fact her brother is a serial killer.

You should reread book one. Deb does learn Dexter's secret. She was awake during his confrontation with Brian. And it's mentioned in Dexter's internal monolog during Laguarta's funeral.
