Last episode was quite good, but it will be hard to overcome the first and second seasons.

i agree. to me season 1 and 2 are one long season with an intermission. we'll have to wait a few episodes to see what this season is really. so far its ok, but i still havent gotten the OH **** moment, Prado finding Dex at Freebos was meh, suspenseful, but i just knew he wouldnt get into trouble.

im trying to figure out the time period between s2 and s3. it seems to be a couple of months. in season 2 i remember it was based all around the hot summer, so im figuring this is around september/october (hopefully we see a halloween episode like season 1)

this season of dexter is going to be the best one yet. that last episode had a pretty great ending.

crazy talk! if they can top the BHB, then this show has no limits.

The flash-backs better return and probably will when Dexter begins having to accept that Harry is the only person who can help him, so he'll look back. But also Fantasy Harry is really great, i.e. the park scene.

The ending, by the way, left me speechless. This is the best episode of Dexter in a long time. "Finding Freebo" was wow. That is all. The direction this season is taking is great. I'm so glad they have found a way to keep up with the brilliance of the second season in a great way. They knew what to do and how to do it with this one. Dexter giving up the code for his own was bound to have a lot of issues, such as losing sight of killing with a purpose.

Wow. Just...wow. Best show ever? Yes. Yes it is.

I read somewhere that they won't be doing the flashbacks anymore but they will still use Harry. He will be like another side of Dexter or something when he daydreams.

I've finally caught up to season 3! Watched both episode 1 and 2. :D

So I did it, just finished season two of Dexter, AKA my new favorite show. Caught up, even saw the first episode of season three.
I'm going to say everything I liked in threetwoone GO:

  • Batista and his man beastness and his hats.
  • Doakes is such a major d-bag but by the end of season two I felt so bad for the guy and loved him and dexter's unique new found relationship.
  • Deb and her mouth. Pretty creative, Mary Mother of **** =
    th_inlove.gif
  • dexter's killing uniform, that Henley shirt is awesome
  • the music. the track "hide your tears" is purely, simply, utterly, epic.
  • Masuka. I'm pretty sure he would post on the Hype.
  • the opening. It's violent and messy and it involves fruits.
Since I work in a cafe, my favorite quote from the show so far has to be this:
"Want a real glimpse of the human nature? Stand in the way of someone's mocha latte."

It's crazy just how lovable Michael C. Hall has made Dexter. Just goes to show how talented he is, and how great the writing is.

So...does anybody think that, with all that's *ahem* going on, Dexter and Rita may get married or engaged?

yea i think they will get engaged atleast. which is sad. if he gets married, and/or has a kid (i think something is going to stop the kid from coming) then the show pretty much has to end, if it doesnt than they will ruin it trying to make it work. its a serial killer who LOVES his time alone, is gone at all hours of the night at times, hides his slides, tools in his private apartment. marriage ruins all of that.

I think they will get engaged but I don't know about married. Maybe Rita has a miscarriage?

Cheerios man deseved to get his ass handed to him. I personally think pedophiles are the lowest of societies lows. We need to see more of them getting what they deserve.

I'm not sure what to make of Miguel but he's starting to creep me out. Miguels brother wife is HOT as hell though. They only showed her for an instance last night, but i couldn't stop thinking about her.

Do you think the show will ever kill off Rita....?

Oh btw, wouldn't it be cool if Masuka was this seasons killer!:D

i like miguel. i think hes bringing an interesting approach. kill of rita, doubtful. the two characters who will never be killed off = rita, deb, ive got the feeling one of ritas kids is killed though...that would be crazy...

miguels brothers wife is hot!! so is miguels wife!

masuka as the killer would be toofunny lol. 2 serial killers (3 really) from one department.

however i dont think this seasons killer has even been shown yet. if you remember, season 1 the ITK didnt enter the scene til atleast halfway through, and then we didnt know it was him until like episode 9

edit: double post. just in case you missed it the first time.

I like Rita and the kids. I think they need to stay and be apart of Dexter's life. I don't know if he will become a family man though. It would make things hard for him to go out at night and kill.

I always thought Miguel's wife is hot. Didn't think much of his brother's wife. I like the way Miguel acts toward Dexter though. They really bonded over their conversation about fathers. I have a feeling Dexter may want to start a family with Rita and get engaged just so he could show Harry that he could lead a normal life.

Whatever happened to Leguerta's sexual advances towards Dexter from S1 storyline? That seem to just disappear......

she prob gave up after he kept turning her down. not to mention season 1 and 2 are close, and she had to screw Esme's fiance hahah dirty girl

I think if Dexter were to get married Rita will have to find out about him, & accept him. That way he could be a family man as well as the Dark Defender.

I think most people knew who it was the minute he entered the hospital room.

see now if they go that route, that will also ruin the series. what single mother of 2 would be comfortable having a baby and living with the worst serial killer in florida history (maybe US).

did you know?

I didn't know it was
his brother
but there was no way he was
a doctor

i dont know why i answered like that.

i didnt know he was the ITK until the barbie doll it showed sitting on his desk... i originally thought he was just there to give Deb's character more story. but then after seeing it again i was like 'wow that was obvious.'

i actually guessed that the ITK was dexter brother or father, bc of the similar dismemberment stuff, but had no clue it was rudy...its pretty cool how similar rudy and dex look, good casting. the could def be brothers.

yeah, I didn't know it would be rudy either. I was totally clueless but liked the surprise. That's why I avoid spoilers for this show.
