i got 1 question how long does this series have longevity wise premise can get old unless they pull some sort of twist

Somewhat agree with this, they did a good job in season 3 as far as pulling a twist though. This one seems off to a good start. It seems like they couldn't let the series go on too long on this premise, but hey that's why they have writers and I'm not one of them..

How one feels about Dexter being good or bad is 100% up to the individual. Personally....it's certainly a blurry line, but I'm in the former. He's doing what most couldn't stomach doing - even though deep down they want to see the trully evil pay.

Honestly can't see the series not ending with his loved ones (i.e. Rita, Debb, Angel, etc.) finding out, but choosing to look the other way and letting him continue with his "work."

Book verion of Debra coped with it. I could see her eventually finding out in the TV series as well. Especially if her investigation into Harry's mistress leads her to it.

Just can't see anyone bringing down Dexter in the (eventual) finale. Especially considering the people he targets.

Honestly...I see the final scene in the finale echoing the first scene in the pilot. Dexter taking out a child predator. We'll see what ultimately happens.

Rita wont take it well she flipped out and wanted ntohing to do with Dexter when he slept with Lila

Debra might take it fine but she is very emotional but also very close to Dexter hard to tell

this looks like it could be the best season yet. Lithow and Hall will be brilliant...add Carradine...GOLD.

I love how its gonna be Lundy, Dexter and Deb all doing their own private hunt for trinity, while at the same time the whole department is looking for the vacation killers...good stuff.

The acceptance of Dexter's dark passenger is all about how the person finds out. The only circumstances I can see anyone possibly accepting his hobby is if they find out about his past, and take the time to hear him out. The thing I like most about Dex is everyone likes him, but that would all flip in a second if anyone actually knew. :heart:

Lithrow is an awesome serial killer, and Laguerta seems to change men every season - i've loved Lauren Velez ever since she was on 'OZ'.
