The anticipation is killing me. I can't wait to see how they end the season. This has been the best season since season 1 IMO.

I think the season has been great, and looking foward to the season finale.

I never know how to rank the seasons, because they always seem to be continuations that fit eachother.

Did anyone know that Hall and Carpenter were married, by the way?

It's one of the better seasons going into the finale. Don't sit there and be all "well, it's your opinion:woot:" cause I really don't care.

a bit of an ******* arent you? if you dont care about anyones opinions, maybe a message board isnt the best place for you.

so far for me, season 2 is the best... or should i say had the best scenes, the cabin scenes were just awesome.

but for overall quality throughout, id say season 1 and 4 are close...then 2, then 3....i loved season 3 though dont get me wrong.

You know what? Shut the hell up. I know what an opinion is I just don't agree with some of them. I am of the opinion that these opinions are misguided and therefore incorrect by way of viewpoints and judgments

:whatever:

You don't agree with someones opinion that's cool, but telling people to shut up because you do not agree with it is just being a jackhole and is not waranted at all.

Anyway here are the main problems I've had with Dexter this season

  • Consistency, too many episodes would alternate between meh and good/decent
  • The personal relationships like Batista/Maria and Quinn/Christine flat out sucked and dragged the show down
  • Arthur started out awesome, then the writers got stuck with his character mid-season, but he's returned to form lately. Thankfully
  • Rita sucks
  • Dexter isn't too careful anymore. Creeping around in broad daylight is not the Dexter way

Other than that it's been great. Ever since the Thanksgiving episode this show found its mojo again and I expect an awesome cliffhanging finale.

I think some of those points weren't unconscience decisions, which is something I can't say for most series' on tv.

I think Trinity had a rep built upon the concepts of Dexter and Lundy...and they were really wrong, and ultimately when he ends up looking more like a crazy old man who has just been lucky for all these decades...he's showing that he's actually pretty smart. I thought he showed some good skills last episode.

Dexter's having alot on his plate by being a father/husband/killer/detective (you know...studying his prey before a kill)/forensic analyst...dude's got alot on his plate.

I kind of think the Trinity case is officially closed. It would be dumb for Arthur to try to pin it on Dexter when the police feel like they have their man. Why would he risk having them question their decision?

I think what could happen is that Dexter is caught in the act trying to either take or kill Trinity and has no way to explain who he is without completely incriminating himself.

I remember Dex saying that the stuff he planted was to temporarily make it look like the other guy was Trinity, to buy him some time to get the real Trinity. He made it sound like that if someone dug deep enough they would realize the truck driver wasn't the real Trinity killer.

Plus Trinity/Arthur doesn't know that Dexter has killed and disposed of the truck driver, so in Arthur's mind, once the truck driver is caught, and the police check his DNA, they'll be on the hunt again for the real killer.

By framing Dex as a copy cat (i say this, cause of the 30 year time line the killings have been going on, vs Dexter's age) he'll stick it to his nemesis , Dexter, who really can't tell the police what's really going on without incriminating himself in a **** load of other stuff.

Keep it chilled gentlemen.

Arthur seemed just fine in the scene where he looked at his work and the photo of the driver. I don't think he's at all concerned about DNA.

I don't think he's had time to really process it yet; remember his main goal for being there was finding Dex. That room was a pleasant surprise for him.

What? I was simply stating we all have a right to our own opinion after YOU called US stupid to begin with...

Why should we care about your opinion if you make it out that people you "don't agree with" look stupid by calling them as such?

See the point I'm trying to make? It's pretty simple, keep it cool around here man. This is a place of awesomeness!

p.s I actually agree with most of your points.

After watching all the clips

clips from the final, I am more convinced than ever that Debs is going to get killed off .

Fair enough, ill let it go.

I know. It reminds me of how I felt when I was waiting for the Shield final! That was a killer wait too...

thank you god, finally got it in hi-def, The Getaway is going to be frickin insane

i love how showtime has (so far) kept the ending secret.
