I like this season

I do think however that they kind of copped out with COdy and AStor by just sending them to their grandparents. BUts its better that then them just being around and not really helping the story

I too am curious about these meteor sized plot holes. I would like to know for future purposes because considering I didnt notice any, I don't want to fall in one at a later date, due to their apparent invisibility.

The thing that bugged me about this episode was Dexter dumping the drugged killer in the trunk of his car rather than just killing him while he was unconscious, THEN dumping him in the car. You think he'd have learned not to drug a target, then go off and do something else and hope they don't wake up. You know, after he made the same mistake with Arthur Mitchell, and he wandered off and KILLED DEXTER'S WIFE after waking up.

But in the same episode he demonstrates that he can just snap someone's neck in an instant when he's in a hurry.

Why don't calm you the f**k down. I haven't complained about everything. But I sure as sh** am not going to sit here & pretend that the show is perfect.

Plotholes.

1. Already mentioned. Why didn't Dexter just kill the dude on the table? or at the very least restrain him just in case he wakes up.

2. Masuka, Deb, or no one else saw 2 men fall to the ground in a scuffle like 15 feet front of them. Really! Are you kidding me!

3. Apparently Dexter can drag a body faster then peoplle can walk. Not to mention set up an entire crime scene.

4. How is that no one question why a restrained shot man. That was shot in a different place. Ended up restrained with a dead dude in a completely different place?

5. How did these detectives come to the conclusion of how this restrained man choked out his partner?

6. Whats going happen in the autopsy when it is revealed that the dude died of a broken neck not a gun shot wound?

7. & one from last season. Once again they showed that Dexter leaves his phone on during kills. They have shown this numerous times through out the show. So why did he not get Rita's mesage until he got home in the season finale last year? Or why didn't he even pick up the phone?

I would consider continuing if:

1. I had something interesting to grab onto. But I am just not interested this season at all.

2. Money is tight. So it is hard to justify continueing to pay for something that is not giving me the desired entertainment.

& I have earned the right the critisize this show. I have been watching it since season 1. You don't like what I have to say put me on ignore. I could give a sh** less.

Dexter has a ritual, he never usually kills somebody with out the kill room. Last time he did that Lumen happened.

There was a corner involved and none of the above mentioned have x-ray vision.

3. Apparently Dexter can drag a body faster then peoplle can walk. Not to mention set up an entire crime scene.
Adrenaline can make you do crazy feats, people have been known to lift cars when their child has been trapped under one. All he did was place Lumen's weapon in the dudes hand.

Bigger fish to fry such as the Santa Muerta (sp?) killings, you could tell no one wanted to be there.

No-one will give a crap they have bigger fish to fry. A lovers spat over serial killers? No.

Lost signal? Maybe he didn't feel it vibrate. It could be that he wanted a moments peace when killing Arthur Mitchell who he had a 'connection' with.

I really loved the last scene with Lumen and Dexter sitting in the bathroom together.

That last scene has basically started the tone shift in the show as now Dexter will no longer be half hearted in the way he deals with Lumen's issues. We should now see Dexter feel some kind of vengeance for Rita's death, the return of his dark passenger in god mode and (hopefully) Lumen walks out of this unscathed so Dexter can have some kind of "win" after last season.

Although I can imagine Robocop finally ends up on the table which makes Quinn even more suspicious, but can't prove, that his PI has suddenly disappeared from the face of the earth.

Ok I am officially sold on this season. That was a freakin great episode. The best episodes of dexter are the ones that keep you on edge and this one had that in spades. The only only thing that slightly annoyed me was how the rapist conviently revealed everything on the phone with dexter and Lumen right in the next room. I feel like realistically, there's no way he wouldve risked doin that, he prolly would've called the cops no? Instead he calls his rapist buddies with his captors right near him? Dont get me wrong, it was a very slight annoyance to an otherwise marvelous episode imo.
