Im confused your now bringing rape into this as an example? If you want racism gone stop saying racist words and ill call that man over there by his first name and hell call me by mine and well go from there. We wont know each other by our race but as by our names.
It is very simple. You say the way to get rid of racism is by not talking about it, at all. To ignore it. That would be like saying if you remove depicting of rape from film or stopped victims from speaking about it, that would suddenly stop rape.

Telling someone they can't use speech, in any context, does not make racism go away. As I asked, what about the N word being used in a rape song made the N word the worst slur in the world?

I wanna know how the hell you connect rape to racisim. There not even in The same arena

Says the one whos first sentence was an attempt to belittle someones intelligence
You continually avoids facts, questions and obvious stuff placed in front of you, so you can continue to say the same talking points over and over again. If English isn't your first language, that would at least explain some of it. It does not explain your inability to comprehend how a commanding officer telling his officers to racially profile or suffer the consequence makes it more then a one officer problem.

Your entire argument boils down to blaming black people for their prediement. As if it is their fault they are racially profiled. You even flatly said they are responsible for keeping racism around because of rap. It is embarrassment, wrong and quite racist.

That's looking at America through rose-tinted glasses, and this nation is just not what it believes it is, regardless of who we elected President or how far we like to believe we've come. Forms of discrimination have just become more subtle. I refer to a quote from "Ghosts of Mississippi:" This country may be legally integrated, but emotionally, we will always be segregated.

Its what I think America's founding fathers would have wanted.
The course we were suppose to take.
The country we were suppose to evolve into.
Instead, your quote, from a good movie I admit , is the cold reality.
Such a shame.

I explained it in the first paragraph. You are making a strawman argument to blame black people for racism by using it in a form of entertainment. By using the N word, as if they are responsible for it being a slur. You are saying racism would disappear if they stopped using it and talking about. And I am saying just like if you did the same thing with rape, sexism or any other problem, it is complete BS. That would not stop racism, just like not talking about hunger would suddenly make it disappear from the world.

You ethier you wint answer me on if those two High up cops represents all 300,000 active officers in the country. Again your like a twistee tie i said rap plays a part in the machine and not the main problem.

You wanna talk about deflection answer how your sick example of a man forcing himself in a woman is related to racism?

It is example of why this statistic exist:

http://www.diversityinc.com/news/fbi-data-racial-profiling-real-ferguson-just-tipping-point/

A USA Today analysis of FBI arrest data found that 1,581 other U.S. police departments arrest Blacks at rates even higher than Ferguson. These departments range from those in major cities, like Chicago and San Francisco, to suburban towns on the outskirts of cities like Detroit and New York. In St. Louis County alone, more than two dozen police departments had arrest rates more lopsided than Ferguson’s.

The study—which gathered data voluntarily reported to the FBI from 2011–2012, tracked by race (excluding Latinos)— found that 70 departments from Connecticut to California arrest Blacks at a rate 10 times more than people of other races.

So please explain how this isn't a national problem.

And you have two political parties that only continue to feed into that emotion....you have the Republican party who blames minorities for their own problems, and you have the Democrats that want to keep those problems going in the minds of minorities in order to preach the doctrine that they are the party for the little man. Add on top of that, those within these movements that make so much money off of them, that they to want to continue the narrative, so why actually do anything about bringing it to an end? If what they deem as a plague on minorities ends, then they become irrelevant.

It is a vicious cycle and there are sooo many players feeding the problem, rather than coming up with a solution to break that cycle.

Obama had 100 days, just as FDR did and he spent it writing a godawlful piece of legislation called "Obamacare". So sad....

And yet you are far more concerned with that and black men behaving themselves when stopped then racial profiling that results in people getting shot for being black.

The democratic problem is made worse, because they preach that they will help, but are far more influenced by money that thrives on the situation.

Oh hell yes....and when they actually do do something, it is simply throwing money at the problem with no oversight, no substance and then get pissed when the problem still continues. It is ridiculous...

You mean you actually need a plan? Nonsense. :o

Only if you REALLY want to actually do something... :cwink:
You see, we did do something. We started a program. Now it is a program with no leadership, plan or any actual power, but hey we did something.

Do you understand how a small part in a large machine works? If racism is a car then rap is the radio.

Again it goes back to my first post of impression and perception.

I noticed you backed off your rape example because it crossed the line, ill let it slide
No, it goes to racism. Because that is what it is. Just because black people rap and as the N word, they get profiled? Do you not see how racist that is?

I explained why I brought up. As another example of something you cannot change by acting like it doesn't exist. No different then hunger. I used rape, because we live in a society where is sadly very common and yet too many want to avoid it as a subject, as if it would go away if they did. Like racism. It is another example of the "good old days". When racism and rape were seen as not real issues as it terrorized the country.

Is there too much nuance there for you?

How does rap cause racism? Please explain how even in a small part rap all by itself causes racism.

I wish both candidates would both strive towards a resolution but its difficult to change an ideology cemented in history. Time may be the only cure as new generations grow up and the farther we get from it. I always wonder if the jewish community feels this way towards Germany because i have honestly no idea. I never learned how modern day relations are in high school or college

Germans are no longer attempting to harm the Jewish people, thankfully. We still have plenty of racism directed at the black community here in the US.

Nah not really, comparing sexual assault to 200 years of an ideology is asinine. You can stop rape and lock up sick freaks, you cant however change an idea unfortunately. Especially in our era where the media and leadership feed the fire as it calmns down

You would have to poll the nation on that one. I believe it does with condtant racist words and attacks on authority and making money in the process because racism sells.iu
