It's nothing really. Some plot points put together to look like an actual story. There's only a new thing, that supposedly is the finale of TDK, but at this point we don't know if it's real (it's very cool, though).

You're probably thinking of dramatic irony which is the most common form of it and is easily associated with both hypocrisy and oxymorons

Kind of like when Dick Cheney shot his friend in the face. The very notion of it was so ridiculous, Jon Stewart was flabbergasted at how they didn't even have to attempt to make it funny.
