Do you own a suit?

One of the younger guys at my office had to go to Philadelphia for a business meeting this morning and last night at a partner event he's like, "do I need to wear a suit, because I don't have one." He's meeting with the CEO of a pretty decent sized company that's an older guy, so I was like, "come on, man." I feel like even if you're casual as **** and can pull a Zuckerberg at work you should have like one just for random ****, like a funeral or something.

I do own a suit. I bought one probably 7 or 8 years ago. I think I've maybe only worn it 2 or 3 times since. I've also lost 25 pounds since I've bought it.

I work in the game industry so getting "dressed up" usually means tucking a polo into khakis. Other than those fancy days I pretty much roll out of bed and into my car.

I bought a suit years ago for a family funeral (not just off the rack, fitted/ tailored) it was actually a pretty surreal experience, picking out the suit, being measured and fitted...

wore it once for that funeral, never wore it again... since, I'v also lost a lot of weight, so it no longer fits me. Not that I'v had any reason to wear a suit since, but, to have "just in cause", I'v tried to piece together a decent suit/outfit from goodwill (that's more fitting for my current body type)

also least year I bought (also at goodwill) a nice pinstriped brown suit as part of my doctor who custom for Halloween

(but, its not fitted, and probably not one I would wear for any other reason)

I was one of those guys until one of my best friends had a wedding recently. I went and bought me a decent charcoal suit after tons of research. It made me look like a bad motherf***er.
