The last thread got too big and was closed, so this thread is basically a continuation of the last one. So, my fellow Ottofiles, let's continue! :otto::up:

Oh bugger! I can't believe my thread was closed. It served us loyally for nearly four years. Ah well. The Doc Ock love is still strong.

I’ll post these two great collages that were in the first post of my thread:

Wow I can't believe it lasted us 4 years. I hope this new lair is just as epic as the last.

Ok then, lets have some fun. Lets examine the quotable Doctor Octopus. Post your favorite Doc Ock lines, preferably with the source. Here are a few of mine:

"Silence! You imperious moron!"-Otto to Norman Osborn in 'Reaction', Spectacular Spider Man season 1

'I think I liked you better as the thick-witted clod who ran around the mid-West in torn trousers yelling "Hulk will smash."'-Spider Man #19

"You may be fast, but I've been doing this for years. So, as the kids say, bring it on."-Ock to Carlyle during Strasynski's run on ASM (I forget which issue it was).

You can count on it :cwink:

They're awesome. Especially his quote to the Hulk :hehe: Ok, lets see...

"Really Sandman, do you actually believe that I care what you think? SILENCE!" - Doc Ock in ASM #338, Return of the Sinister Six

"Genius has always been reviled by the ignorant. This city is full of insignificant nobodies. A few thousand less can only benefit the gene pool" - Doc Ock in Spider-Man Unlimited #3

:otto:

Psh @ admin. You can never have a thread too big for Otto Octavius himself.

"You're getting on my nerves"
"I have a knack for that"
"Not any
more"-Otto and Spidey from SpiderMan-2

Doc Ock: "Rhino, you won the coin toss. Will you crush his skull or simply impale his heart on your horn?"

Doc Ock: "Your new suit interests me, arachnid. I'm going to enjoy peeling it away for further study"

From the Spectatcular Spider-Man sinister six episode

New art find: http://nirtallis.deviantart.com/art/Thankless-job-134703832

And my contribution to the quotes list:

“The Vitruvian Man has come, General. And in his octo-limbed world, you are quadriplegic.” --Year One

“The only people who should be permitted to behold the genius of Leonardo are his intellectual equals. And regrettably, that is a rather exclusive club.” --Negative Exposure

And of course: “I will not die a monster.” --Spider-Man 2

"Really Sandman, do you actually believe that I care what you think? SILENCE!" - Doc Ock in ASM #338, Return of the Sinister Six

"Genius has always been reviled by the ignorant. This city is full of insignificant nobodies. A few thousand less can only benefit the gene pool" - Doc Ock in Spider-Man Unlimited #3

Still some of my favorite Ock lines. :otto::up:

"Excellent! We have time to kill these annoying dolts, then!" Doc Ock, on the X-Men, from Secret Wars.

Okay, although I don't have any new Otto art yet with which to christen version 2.0, I did manage to get my greedy little hands on a copy of the new Wonder Woman cartoon. Which happens to feature one actor in common with Spider-Man 2. :otto:

I too am already working on a new Doc Ock piece for this new thread.

Hello! Wow. It's been a LONG time since I've stopped in here. I've been in an Ock mood lately so I thought I'd look up the old hangout. I only vaguely recognize some of your usernames (horrible memory) and doubt anyone remembers me, lol! I used to have that weird Alfred Molina (like I have to say his last name) website called Trust Me, as well as the Ock and Alfred fanlistings. Sadly my friend couldn't host the fanlistings any more and before that my old host had a virus and had to move all sites to a new server but forgot to move my Alfred site, so I lost everything. Well, I have the stuff backed up but not the current versions of the layout and site (which was messed up from the virus anyway and I could no longer get in to update it). I miss it, but whatever.

I don't even know if I was posting here in 2004. *thinks* If not, I probably didn't mention that I got to see Fiddler On The Roof twice (with my mom, then with my grandmother). Oh how that rocked. 3rd row and then 1st row, I think it was.

Anyway, enough rambling about me. Just wanted to say hey!

Oh, and wasn't there a video that was made by someone here with flash and they used photos of a lot of us? I can't find that these days and would love to see it again. I'm not sure if it was downloadable back then (if it was, I'm sure I have it somewhere on another drive).

Anyway, hi to all!

OckGal! I remember you well. My username was Doc Ock back in 2004. I had it changed to Joker a couple of years ago.

I remember your website, too. I remember you and Silver S [who doesn't post here anymore unfortunately], were the biggest Doc Ock fangirls I'd ever seen, and were always going on about how sexy Al Molina was as Ock :hehe:

Sorry to hear you lost your website. It was very good. Anyway, welcome back :yay:

Welcome back, OckGal! I may have talked to you a few times. My memory is infamously unreliable though. :otto:

Ockgal- from youtube? I'm Saphira144 if you are :D

You obviously haven't seen the depths of my Ottolove....

Great find, Planner. I love the moms one

Joker? Shame on you for changing your name. :oldrazz:

Master Planner, you look familiar!

Saphira144! I was just watching your Ock Lives video the other day! I remember being miffed by someone on there who said they were a fan "but c'mon" as if there are limits or something. And yep, that OckGal and I are one in the same. :D

Aw, that Moms link is adorable. I can't seem to find my Spidey2 DVD(s) and I wanna watch the bloopers and stuff. *crave* It's been so long. I thought I had them in the basement where I work-out and watch stuff, but they weren't there. And my DVD case has two empty spots where it SHOULD be. Must be in another case somewhere. Hm.

Okay, question. How many Ock fans have a pair of goggles like Movie!Ock wore? Cos I've been looking for a decent pair and they're either way off in style or they cost too much (anything over ten bucks AND shipping is too much in my opinion). I did flip through eBay and end up bidding on an Ock comic trading card thingy that was only a dollar (and one for shipping). I'm so weak.

Another Lisa who's also an Ock fan? o_O

What're the odds?

I'm bad at math. ;)

I finished making my full-body Ock out of Perler beads. Took about 6 hours straight. What a hassle. Didn't come out spectacular or anything, but it'll do.
