Sorry, I forgot to reply to this.

You did a great job. A good profile for the villains is essential for new fans who want to learn more about the characters

Hey Electro fans, it is my profound pleasure to tell you that Electro makes his move against Spidey in the pages of Sensational: http://www.marvel.com/catalog/?id=5079

Looks like he's one of the guys Chameleon recruits.

Awesome. SSM shaping up to be a damn fine book at the moment, looks like Electro's in the issue before this, so that's in 2 months time, a date to put in my diary.

A rather bizarre bump for this thread, but I just had to bring what I found to attention.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Electro_(comics)

Why is there a link for a Gay League profile in the external links/references for Electro on Wikipedia

If you click on the link it has some stats for him, including his sexual orientation, which according to them is bisexual......

Mainly because of the implication of MK:S-M, since it's been claimed that Mark Millar said the person who Max wanted his escort to impersonate was Spider-man. If you were totally being facetious, since at the moment I can't tell, I'm sorry.

Max put up a good fight against Spidey in the latest Sensational Spider-Man. Great art, biting dialog....but I thought the comparison between Electro and Hitler was kind of a stretch. Ok, so Max considered being an artist as a kid. Thats pretty much all he has in common with Adolf Hitler.

I disagree. It was a very short battle.

All he did was throw a few blasts about. There was no huge destruction, no chaos, all he did was wreck a couple of PAINTINGS. Then Spidey used that awful Iron Spidey suit to take him out in the blink of an eye.

I was disappointed. Electro deserved better than that. I thought he might get a whole issue to himself, but bloody Swarm got more attention than Max did.

What are you talking about??

That is the only comparison they made between them. Nothing else.

Yes it was short and yes I would have liked to have seen more of Electro, but I enjoyed the fight that he put up. Very dramatic look to the fight. Maybe you arent concerned by a few paintings being destroyed but a history geek like me was sad to see something irreplaceable get destroyed. The intensity of Max wasnting to kill Peter was enough to make me happy.

It was very out of left field. It was like he just mentioned that Hitler was an art student for no reason. I read it and thought "OK.....thanks for the info."

Time to give this place a little nudge.

Though a loyal minion of His Tentacle-Ness, Otto Octavius, I have to admit that I've recently developed a definite liking for Electro. It started with Castro's Sinister Six novels; Castro does all the characters justice, but he pays special attention to Max.

I dug up and read "Light the Night" which was quite excellent; that and the arc in which he gets powered-up are my favorites so far.

Some Electro fan-art I dug up on deviantArt:

...Man, I don't care what anybody says. I /like/ that adorkable costume, mask and all. :)

VERY nice picture there.

Thanks for the bump too, been meaning to dig this place up for sometime. (And for the record, I liked Electro's latest appearance in SSM, short and sweet).

Electro is such a great Villian. He was very challenging in the Comics which was great IMO:up:.

I always thought if any Spidey-villain was (ahem) light in the loafers, it would be Mysterio, and even Castro of the Sinister Six novels agrees.

"He dresses so cool, other villains hang there heads in shame as he walks down the street" --ElectroUK

:hehe: (snickers) :hehe:

But seriously, when you can cause seizures by interfering with neurological signals, short out an entire city, or just fry someone extra crispy, who the bad place is going to tell you that you have no fashion sense?

Interview with Crispin Freeman (Electro) on TSSM. http://forum.newsarama.com/showthread.php?t=148431

What I think what’s different about this Electro is his power is effecting his mind. He’s almost completely insane, babbling a lot of the time. The high voltage has overpowered his psyche. I find that really interesting. I mean, of course your brain is responsible for channeling a lot of electronic signals through its neural passages. When you’re charged with all that electricity its probably going to effect your brain. That’s certainly what he struggles with. It’s almost like he’s still trying to figure out what’s happening to him. He switches from being angry to paranoid to being vicious to sort of cool. It’s really interesting playing him.

Can I just say that I love what they are doing with Electro in the new cartoon?
