Nice. Judging by the deviant art name at the bottom, I'm assuming that's fan art.

The Master Planner favors the Armani, with the movie trenchcoat running a close second.

And now here's a fun and related find:

so, who enjoyed watching Spidey impale Ock with his own tentacle in the last issue of the Amazing Spider-Man

No idea what you're talking about, Jack

Cute artwork, Master Planner :hehe:

Are you not reading?

Major Spoilers from Grim Hunt:

Spider-Man is about to kill Kraven when the 2nd Spider-Woman, who Madame Web gave her powers too before she died, shows him what would happen if he did it. One of the panels show him kill Ock, wearing the future costume from ASM 500

The thing I like about this illustration is how it offers conclusive proof that Earth 616 Ock wears boxer shorts for underwear, as opposed to Ultimate Ock who wears tighty-whiteys.

The trailers from the movies, done to animated styles. First, all three films done to the 90's cartoon.

The trailer for SM2, done to the Spectacular Spider-Man style. I wont bother you guys with the vids I found for the first and third films. :oldrazz:

Preview to Doc Ock's return: http://www.newsarama.com/php/multimedia/album.php?aid=37080

Just look at the gang of super villains he's got working for him. He has not lost his touch :woot: I think the dialogue also confirms
that Ock wants the Osborn baby to cure himself.

Not too wild about the art though. But if the story is good enough then I'll overlook it.

Awesome pic, btw, spidey 62.

^^ As i said in the preview thread, I think the preview looks great. Great to know Ock's back.

Yeah, I'm not crazy about the art either. But it looks good though.

Yeah, the art is pretty atrocious. I wish they'd have gotten someone else for this story, because I'm liking the premise and how it reads.

Any new word on the Sinister 666?

Not yet, but you'd imagine they would be doing it in this story as the rotating writers system finish in October.

By the way, I heard in the new Spidey game there is going to a 2099 version of Doc Ock

Mark Waid interview about the upcoming Doc Ock story: http://marvel.com/news/all.13519.tuesday_q&a~colon~_mark_waid

Here's what he said about Ock:

Marvel.com: You know, I read something interesting and couldn't believe it was true, but you haven't written Doc Ock before?

Mark Waid: Nope. Never written him before. Somehow that has eluded my grasp over the last 20 years. And I'm having a blast with him, especially because the stuff that Dan Slott and John Romita Jr. did to remake him in AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #600 makes him much creepier than he used to be. I always had a soft spot in my heart for Doc Ock, but I'm even more intrigued now that he is just eerie and dark and even more of a schemer than Spider-Man remembers him being. There are things in the first couple of parts of the story that Spider-Man doesn't realize might actually be one of the many hands of Doctor Octopus working behind the scenes.
