Thanks guys. I should have known that, since I've downloaded lots of stuff onto my PS3. Playing as The Joker in the Arkham Asylum game being one of the most fun downloads I've ever done.

How I love the SSM version of Doc Ock. He was perfect. In a mere two seasons, they covered some of his greatest hits from the comics:

- Sinister Six
- The Master Planner
- Gang War

That show was cut off way before it's time.

Yeah, it's pretty good. It's the first part of a two part story that continues in #298.
Arguably, they did Ock more justice in those 2 seasons than we could have ever dared think possible. Certainly more than made up for his lackluster treatment in the 90's series.

Anyone else think Bender's arms look like the original Ditko Octopus arms?

Yep, looks just like them.

Be sue to pick up Iron Man #501-503, folks. It's Iron Man vs Doc Ock.

There better be some good fights in this. Ocks brain against Starks? Count me in.

Thats some excellent art. I'm looking forward to it. Actually, it would be nice to have a SS reunion in 616 now that all of the original members as back in the land of the living.

I love Mark Bagley's art (especially from the early 90's), but I'm really not a fan of USM, so I probably won't be picking it up.

A few months ago, I was on Ebay loooking for rare SPidey busts/statues. I came across one that looked familiarfrom the way the picture was taken, although ihe was most covered, so I can only see a little bit of the torso and arms. Then it hit me, it resembled that rare Spider-Man 2 diorama that we've been looking for. The SPider-Man part atleast. It was priced REALLY high.

This thread shall never die. Sweet pics, guys.

And Haz, where have you been hiding yourself, especially with Doc Ock being all over Marvel lately?

If I could pick any actor form any time period to play Otto Octavius, it would be a 40 year-old Anthony Hopkins.

I'm always here. Mwa ha ha.

Here are some 100x100 avatars I made a long while ago from comic scans. Share and enjoy.

Norman needs to put on some clothes :o

I'm surprised Sandman's clothes resisted this time, he tears them out too normally.

Lol, I didn't remark that Doc Ock carried Vulture and Kraven the first time I read it:woot:.

Unless he just made sand pants. :o

Well, I just finished reading Iron Man 501-502, and I must say, I am impressed. A very well written tale. Ock is at his malevolent best. Would that all Marvel titles shared this level of quality.

There is a preview of USM #157, Otto is in it for some panels :

I don't know if I'm thrilled about that new direction Bendis is taking him on, now that he's lost the anger and thirst for revenge that he felt right after his accident. Both in Doom and this, he just wants to get back to work, whoever the man who pays the bill. And there was that scene in Doom when he complimented Peter on his intellect, telling him that a boy like him could do great things (and, of course, Peter telling him to stop complimenting him:woot:).

I can't help but feel Ock's pulling another swifty with that act. He said something similar before in the first two issues of Ultimate Six, and then we found out he was just telling them what they wanted to hear so they'd let him have access to his tentacles.
