A new episode premiered in Canada today (season 2) and will probably be online sometime tonight. Also, should I really pick up the combo or do I need the Gathering of the Sinister Six?

Now what's this about a new episode?

They've been airing the new episodes of season 2 in Canada for the last few weeks. This was the thrid episode of the season.

Spider-Man has to fight a new Sinister Six formed by The Master Planner [guess who :otto:].

You don't really need to read Gathering of the Six, but it is connected to the story, and it's a really good read. It's not essential, you could just read revenge and secret of the Six.

Would you like to read the pages where Ock first appears in Gathering of the Six? I have scans of it.

Please do. I actually never read Gathering myself. Couldn't find it.

Nice going, Joker. You just GUARANTEED that he buys the book. Who can resist that kind of prose, huh?

I got my copy on Ebay. I got all three of the novels on-line. I've never seen them in stores.

Nobdy with any good taste could resist these books. They also depict the most interesting Peter/MJ relationship I've ever read.

I'd argue the good taste point, but as I said before, people who don't even read Spider-Man have enjoyed these books. Castro's just one hell of a writer. I've found myself wishing that the Gentleman & Pity could be in a movie.

I read it forever ago. It was the last in a trilogy. I usually featured Venom and Spidey and Venom never failed to get his butt handed to him by the end of each book's villain.

Book 1: The Venom Factor (Featuring the Hobgoblin)
Book 2: The Lizard Sanction
Book 3: The Octopus Agenda

Are you trying to get me started? That story was amazing! I've got relatives who don't even give a **** about Spidey & loved those books! I would read them on the train on my way to work, & I would get mad when my stop came up because it meant I had to put it down! On the boards, the series was all I could talk about for a while. But everyone who'd read them could understand why.
They're indeed awesome books. I certainly wouldn't mind seeing that guy in charge of Amazing Spider-Man. Not only did the man have respect for continuity, but he really had a wonderful grasp of nuanced character.

:applaud:heart::otto:

Tonight, I saw the episode with the Sinster Six and it kicked butt. Defenitely loved
seeing Ock get taken away by his tentacles.

He had a grasp of everything! If he was on Amazing or any other regular title I'd be thrilled!
Does nobody not like this series?!?!?!?

Cool.
Do you have a link to the new episode? I searched on Google & Youtube & all I found was a Kraven clip w/no sound.

Well, I just ordered the Sinister Six combo pack off of Amazon. :spidey::up:

Congratulations!

You wont regret it. That's a promise!
