Wow, now here's a challenge and a half. Lets see how good my memory is....

Amazing Spider-Man #3

Close but no cigar! Actually from Unlimited #3, echoing ASM#3. (In ASM he doesn't call everyone incompetent clods, lol). From here on out, I will delete the responses you got right.

Sounds familiar, but I can’t put my finger on it.

Web of Spider-Man #4

No idea. But what a wonderful line. Very Ockesque.

What a wonderful coinage of word. At any rate, it's from ASM #159, also the Ghost of Hammerhead arc.

The Ultimate Six arc. And that was Otto telling Pym and the rest of them what they wanted to hear so he could get access to his tentacle harness.

No idea. But how wonderfully cheesey.

Spider-Man: India miniseries, third issue.

From the SM2 comic adaptation. Which, as you may see, slightly differs from the movie it is based upon.

Spider-Man Loves Mary Jane, #1. First page features a wonderful mangaesque rendering of movie Ock.

Not sure. Definitely from one of Stan Lee’s stories.

Yes! ASM#3.

Fantastic Four #267, you gave me the very scans yourself! :oldrazz:

Webspinners #18. You posted from there too--a wonderful scene where Ock crushes a safe in front of Beetle to intimidate him.

No idea. Might be from that horrible Out of Reach mini.

Yes, and I own the tpb because I can be induced to buy anything with metal tentacles on it, no matter how horrible.

No idea, but it sounds very familiar.

Countdown arc of SSM.

Oh dear, I'm a bit rusty on some of them. Still that was tons of fun to do. Cheers, MP :D

Glad to give you something to do while we wait for ASM #600 :woot:

Btw folks, next month in Wizard Magazine, they're doing a feature on the forthcoming Amazing Spider-Man #600. I'll definitely be getting that, and I shall scan the pages from for you all.

Hopefully we get some little taste of what to expect from the tentacled one in this milestone issue.

Although I maintain my opinion that Wizard Magazine is the biggest corporate ass-kisser in the world of fandom, I suppose I can spare a good six bucks and tax for that...:o

Ah I don't feel too bad now, because I haven't read Spider-Man India, Spider-Man loves Mary Jane, the SM-2 comic adaption, or Webspinners #18 [I really want this one].

The others I missed I haven't read enough to have learned his dialogue off by heart. Especially Web of Spider-Man #4. Awful story. I've read it once, and that was enough!

ASM #596 is out this week. Ooooh we're getting so close to #600. I wonder will Ock appear as a cliffhanger at the end of #599. That'd be awesome.

Don't worry, you're granted immunity from having the flesh peeled off your bones and your Ottophilic credentials burned by virtue of being the thread founder. :oldrazz:

I don't know, each of those issues have their good parts. And as I said, the Master Planner can be induced to buy anything with Otto in it. :o

I was just over at IGN and they'd showed a variant cover for an upcoming Skrull Kill Krew issue. Now the cover has nothing at all to do with the story but still it makes me go WTF? lol

I thought it was a very cool image...until I scrolled down a little lower. :o

Oh, snap! OK, ya got me. :D

I am so intrigued and excited.
Me, too. And terrified.

LMAO! :funny:

Venom, that is hilarious, and darn good artwork, too. The detail on Spidey, the tentacles etc is excellent.

I just re-watched Spider-Man 2 the other day, man... Alfred Molina rocked it. I know he gets praise for that role, but he desrves so much more, he brought a lot to that role, where i think anyone could of made it seem foolish, MOlina brought not only class to it and prestige, but made Doc Ock feel and look dangerous.

Been getting myself into a real Doc Ock mood lately, he's always been one of my favorite villains, (even though, wont lie, I though the Ultimate Doc Ock, has a much sleeker look and design).

Hey, another Joker in the lair :woot:

You'll get no arguement here. Molina rocked as Doc Ock. Playing a mad scientist comic book villain, he could so easily have gone over the top with it and come across very hammy or corny. But Molina played it with a superb low key menace.

It's definitely a benefit that Ock is a character who doesn't wear a mask, because Molina's facial expressions really added to it. The evil grins, the angry and frustrated faces he'd make when Spidey pissed him off or interfered.

"You're getting on my nerves"

"You've stuck your webs in my business for the last time. Now you'll have this woman's death on your conscience"

"I should have known Osborn wouldn't have the spine to finish you!!!!"

Molina was a class act.

Ultimate Ock was sleeker. He was in fact quite muscular. All his shirtless scenes in his villainous debut in issue #14 show him to be very muscular. Pecks and all.

If you're on a Doc Ock buzz, JerseyJoker, then be sure to pick up the landmark 600th issue of Amazing Spider-Man next month. 104 pages, and Doc Ock is making a big return as the villain of the story.

Yay :otto:

Bwahahahahaha!!! :hehe:

Molina's first ever movie role, too.

They extended it a whole extra page?

Be still my heart!

I thought you would all appreciate this.
page161-1.jpg

Very much appreciated.

It's from Revenge of the Sinister Six. I can see Gog in the background.

Um...
What is the Ock Cow-Dog thing?

It's just some crazy fan art.

Very well drawn fan art, though.

Lol, ok, thanks. That would be a very interesting character, though... Gives me ideas, lol.

SHUSH YOU!!! :cmad:

Btw, how are you enjoying American Son?

The jury is still out on American Son. I liked Part 1 quite a bit, despite my resentment of BND. Part 2 kind of irritated me because of the
scene where Bullseye is picking his nose as Spidey beats the crud out of Venom with the Invisible Woman's help
. Thats the kind of thing we traded the marriage for, writing to amuse 8 year olds? Gross...

I suppose the issue was fine, but that quick little scene really bugged me. Picky? Yes, but I really hate gross out humor. I'm turning into a crotchety old man and I like my comics the same way dagnabbit!
