Watched S-M1 and 2 last night/this morning (started around 4:00 PM yesterday, continued at 12:00 Am this morning. Got half way through S-M2 at 3:00 Am, slept, woke up, continued S-M2 from 8:30 to around 10:30.) Now, tonight, I'll be watching S-M3 on Blu-Ray.

Man, it's been months since I've watched a Spidey movie. I think I might watch Spider-Man 2 the night before ASM #600 comes out.

I'm really making an event out of his forthcoming appearance in ASM, but that's because it IS an event. He's getting a new look, his threat status is getting a big boost, and he's in a huuuuuuuge comic...the landmark 600th issue.

:otto:

IDK if it's THE greatest, but it's certainly up there. What about when he & Spidey were fighting in that maintenance tunnel & they both simultaneously said "Surrender? No."

It always went like, Doc Ock = Spider-Man's greatest enemy, Green Goblin/Norman Osborn = Peter Parker's greatest enemy.

I've seen others describe it that way and i think its holds truth. While Octavius managed to seep into Peter's personal life, it was never by purpose, really just by accident.

My newest "wtf?!" finding:

:o
The wrongness of that is just so, so large.

Why is your avi so small? What is the point of having Scarlett Johannsen to represent you if we can't all enjoy her, hmm?

I dont know, it wouldn't allow me a larger image, i probably need to have more posts or something.

Man, I miss that type of classic banter between the two.

Not to mention or forget, the great banter between the two in the Ultimate universe too.

It's like "Oh, look. Spider-Man come to annoy me & try to ruin my plans. I'll remark on my own genius & he'l make some wise-ass comment like he doesn't take me seriously."

Was looking at different images of the good doctor and found this. I dig it.

But man... this poster. Still hands down, one of the best that the Spidey franchise has put out and that is saying something.

Hey guys, I've read some spoilers for issue #597 of Amazing Spider-Man, and there's a little foreshadowing of Doc Ock's upcoming antics in #600 in it.

Read for spoilers:
Little robots are seen shorting out the electricity all over New York. Ock is seen silhouetted with his mechanical arms. And he's in front of a huge computer panel with eight screens on it, all of them monitoring his robots at work. Various locations they're at include Times Square, at the Daily Bugle, and Forest Hills.

Ock is watching the video feed his Bots are sending him at his undisclosed location.

It has begun!!!! :otto:

Whoa, awesome scan! :wow::up:

I didn't make it to my LCS today again. Didn't get a chance to, but tommorow, I DEFENITELY will. No matter what.

I'd love if for the remaining two issues left before #600, we got little cameos like this of Doc Ock setting up his big villainous plan.

That'd be great/

Alfred Molina is the man. I'd love to see you come back as Doc Ock, too, Alfred. I recall him mentioning that before, about the producers telling him that you don't die, you just disappear.

Notice Molina says he thinks the movies should return to the one villain per movie formula. Hint hint about what he thought of Spider-Man 3.

And he likes Venom!
