World Doc Ock's lair

Hello! Welcome to the lair.

I'd love to have seen the infamous b*tch slap in SM-2, as well. But dropping dear old Aunt May off a building, TWICE, was very satisfactory. Oh and swatting MJ away with a tentacle when she tried to attack him with a plank of wood from behind was bittersweet, too.

Come to think of it, Doc Ock was very nasty to the beloved women in Spidey's life in SM-2.

Heh, Ock wasn't so polite to the women as he should be, was he? :oldrazz:

I literally LOLed at this. Where is the poster of Channing Tatum???

What I always wondered is why in SM2 they didn't do the famous scene where Doc Ock slapped Spidey with his flesh hand...???

I think it was because if that happened it would look like Peter quit as Spider-Man because Ock spanked him rather than his personal problems. Sometimes story has to come first, even in the case of something as epic as this.

True.

But it would have been nice if they had Ock slap him across the face in contempt just before he tried to crush Spidey's head in the bank.

It's not a flaw with the movie. Just a little missed opportunity.

Joker: How kind of you to welcome me! :} Thank you!

LOL! They rock. My favourites are:

- The tentacle claw constantly trying to bring the glass of whiskey to Molina's mouth. "No thanks, I'm driving". LOL!
- The gold coins falling on Molina's head
- Tobey's head getting caught in Sam Raimi's bag strap
- Aunt May messing with the tentacle claw behind Ock's back

Yeah, I also loved the bit where Molina sinks into that hole.

I also loved the "A THIEF!!" bit. :woot:

^ lol So that's what he said! It would be more funny if he didn't cut it off by laughing.

My favorite one is when he says that jibberish line then nods afterwards. I'd love to see that spelled out.

I would like to know what was going through his head when he spoke those words of wisdome xD

And Jameson loosing his teeth xD

Oh wow, LadyJohnson got banned. That was a short acquaintence.

Anyway, less than a month to go until ASM #600 *Rubs hands*

LadyJohnson, the poster above seems to have been banned. Don't know why. Best not to question the powers that be about such matters.

Instead lets looks at some scans of Doc Ock being a badass:

Hmm, I like that idea. Epecially since I finally got bored and watched the entire Second Season of TSSM. Ock is amazing in that season.

The Amazing Spider-Man panel at Wizard World Philly had Dan Slott, Joe Kelly, and Fred Van Lente. Slott talked about ASM #600:

“It’s the 600th issue of Spider-Man!”

Warming to his subject, Slott went on to describe the book as, “The super-awesome [editor] Steve Wacker comic! It is 104 Pages!” Since 104 pages couldn’t contain it there is an additional 5-page story that will be made available on the Internet. Included will be stories by Stan Lee, Brian Michael Bendis, Matt Fraction and Joe Kelly, as well as a 61-page story by Dan Slott, drawn by John Romita Jr. Cover variants will include work from Alex Ross, John Romita Jr. Joe Quesada and John Romita Sr.

The main villain will be Doc Ock as you’ve never seen him before. Said Slott, “It’s gonna be huge! It’s just a huge thing of love!” There will be an important Spider-Man soap opera event, and it will also be a great place for new readers to jump on.

Questions about Norman Osborn were deferred until the following day’s Dark Reign panel. Some of the upcoming events will fall out from “American Son.” The reason Osborn didn’t include Doc Ock in his current plans will be revealed in issue #600. Basically, Osborn probably couldn’t get him. “I want to move [Doc Ock] up to a Doctor Doom level.” said Slott. “He’s going to get AMPed!”

I never ever get tired of hearing Slott say how Ock is going to be a Dr Doom level threat in #600. Damn, this issue cannot come fast enough!!!!!

And I especially love the comment about how Osborn couldn't get Doc Ock involved in his plans because Ock is frying bigger fish. Payback for Norman snubbing the Sinister Six invitation back in ASM Annual #1 :oldrazz:

:otto:

Awesome wasn't it. Brilliant season for all the villains involved. But especially Doc Ock, with two of his classic stories, Master Planner and the Gang war being immortalized on screen.
