Did anyone catch the Doc Ock cameo in #597? Short, but still awesome. I might try and put up a scan later.

Joker, I assume you will be picking up #600... Will this be your first issue since OMD? I've picked up a handful and they have surprised me. I think American Son is one of the best Spidey stories I've read in years, but I hope Doc Ock's return can trump it.

I've been picking up ASM again since #585. It's been generally good overall. Though I thought the new Vulture arc was pretty weak.

Of course I'll be picking up #600. It's sounding great from all the tid bits of info we've been getting. From the preview, and #597, it looks like Ock is planning something really big.

Hello all Doc Ock Fans I'm not new to the boards (I have been lurking for some time) and finally decided I had to come out and say hi! I'm a huuuge Doc Ock fan for multiple reasons, although I have not been exposed to a whole lot of the comic Ock, other than the research I have done via the internet. If you can, check out Peter Parker The Spectacular Spider Man # 72-79. It's the Owl/Octopus War story arc. Otto at his sinister best.
I also recommend any Erik Larsen Sinister Six story, along with Negative Exposure. Doctor Octopus: Year One was well written but the art wasn't very good.

There's one particular moment of Otto awesomeness in Peter Parker #79. Spidey takes the fight into a railroad track area and pulls Ock on the tracks, into the path of an oncoming 50 ton locomotive. Spidey warns Otto to run from the train...
Ock gets to his feet, shouts: "Fool! I need not run from anything!!!"...and tears the oncoming train to pieces.
