I expect to see you all in here to give your reviews on it. It's a BIG read this story. Over 60+ pages. Here's hoping it's as good as they've been making it out to be.

I pretty sure I read around 2002 (when the first film came out) that there really was a Parker that lived at the address that the Parker's lived in in the movie. And an Osborn family lived across the street. I'll see if I can find the article.

Well, you can probably get a good deal on ebay. I recently got myself a Spider-Man 2 picture autographed by Otto's cinematic avatar himself for around 50 dollars plus shipping by negotiating a best offer. Though, my father will probably not be happy when he finds out it came from my savings.

Alas, I work Wednesday, so will have to wait until Thursday to go out and buy #600. Presuming the local comic book place in this podunk town actually HAS it. And hasn't sold out or anything. Though I guess if that happens I can go to an online comics retailer, neh?

I had another Doc Ock dream last night, though it was pretty vague. It involved me reading some very fluffy arc in a black and white "Essential" collection -- Peter Parker, the Sensational Spider-Man volume who knows. And by fluffy I mean REALLY fluffy; I vaguely remember an Ock/Black Cat romance type thing.

As I was waking up I was feeling excited -- not because it was a good arc (it wasn't, really) but because I could scan it and share with the rest of the Lair.

And then I woke up more fully and realized I'd been dreaming.

Probably for the best.

Well guys and gals, I read a whole bunch of spoilers on another forum from someone who got ASM #600 a day early.

While I will not give away any major spoilers here, I'll just say that Slott's promises of Doc Ock being a huge Doom level threat was right on the money. Ock is going to wreak CHAOS in #600.

There's also a couple of twists regarding Ock's motivations in this story. And according to sources, his new look his extremely CREEPY!

I cannot wait

Ock looks fantastic in 600. HOnestly, if he didn't have tentacles, you wouldn't think it was Ock. He looks like he's been through s***, and it makes him look even creepier.

Because of my unfortunate monetary issues, I can't buy my issue until Monday. However, I did manage to get my grubby hands on a sneak peek of Otto's new look and without posting spoilers of any kind, I will just say:

To state that I do not like it, is an understatement on the order of saying that the Grand Canyon is a hole in the ground.

Yup Doc Ock was pretty cool in this issue

And he actually has 8 tentacles, not 6 like we previous thought. This is because is whole body, except his head is wrapped in bandages. He considers his his body meaningless, just a shell for his mind.
