I don't see what the point is anyways; I don't think anyone in this thread is denying that Ock's personality had some serious flaws/insertions that we'd much rather not have seen.

That still doesn't mean Harry didn't get hung out to dry in 10 seconds flat. So I don't get this "nyah, nyah" crap. Say what you want about Ock - he was still ten times the man crybaby Harry was. Again, even watered-down Ock was large and in charge when it came to getting what he wanted. And all the flammatory posts in the world ain't gonna change that.

Movie Ock having a wife,giving Peter love advice,turning evil due to the INFLUENCE of A.I. tentacles,and turning good at the end pisses me off big time.

But that's not to say Molina's Ock was not a bad ass villain.He let nothing stop him from getting what he wanted.He smashed,crashed and destroyed anything and anyone who tried to stop him.

Scaling buildings,lighting cigars and sipping drinks with his tentacles,multi tasking building his reactor,slamming and grabbing Spidey in his tentacles etc.All that was like watching Ock ripped from the pages of the comics.

Greatness.Molina OWNED the role.He made SM-2 the success it was.

I didnt try to get a rise out of anybody.Symbiotica stated that Ock owned Harry.In my first post I didnt argue that,I merely made mention of the fact that it wasn't all that relevant because Ock was being controlled by his chip/tentacles.


In my second post,I stated that why I didn't think Ock was as badass as she thought.What thread are you reading?Don't make an accuse me of doing something I had no intention of doing.You should be grateful I'm even bothering explaining myself,because you have managed to piss me the hell off.

Seriously, you saw Ock specifically say he didn't want a critiquing session of Movie!Ock in this thread. That doesn't mean he doesn't agree that the character was portrayed badly. He's focusing on the positive aspects, which are indicative of how easy it would be to make a perfect Movie!Ock.

One thing you must understand is Ock is powerful, I know you can agree... but to know where the tritium was is where Harry played a part. Osborn Co. is not a small place, no way Ock would've known it was right in that room, not like he has a "tritium radar" or something.

Plus the deal really was something he wouldn't have minded doing anyways. Spiderman would have been in his way and he knew that. Kill two birds with one stone. Also, to quote the good Doc, "I should've known Osborn wouldn't have the spine to finish you"

There they go, and oops! they zip right past the stars of the movie without slowing a jot, which is a fine commentary on the state of the grey-matter in question. LOL
