It's part of a new range from TB called 'Marvel Heros'. These figures are only 2.5" tall & cost less than a dollar apparently. Which has gotta be a good thing.

That TB Marvel Heros Ock figure has nothing new about it,other than the fact it looks half the size of the magnificence that is ML8 Ock.

Nope not impressed.I won't be getting that.I hate when toy makers try and fob people off with something old,by just making a few little tweaks here and there.

Forgive my stupidity, but do you mean Doc Ock is returning in 3 or is Alfred Molina checking to see the crew filming the movie?

No Silver, Ock's stunt double in Spider-man 2, has returned in Spider-man 3. What Ock means is could this be a sign of Ock's return seeing as he looks so much like him?

Like I said, TB are re-using the ML8 Doc Ock mold for the figure. Same as they did with the 'Superhero Showdown' Doc Ock. In fact, each one of t he figures in this series uses the mold of it's ML bigger brother. Only differance is they've taken away most if not all of the POA & they costs less than a buck!

This is actually good news, because IMO it points AWAY from Gopher being Venom.

Why?

Because Ock has to do with the Six. Why would Ock be cameo-ing in a movie with Venom in it? But if we had Electro and Sandman in, it would make good sense to have Ock come in at the end in a "Bwa-hahahahaha, go forth and conquer!" mode. Or maybe, "Step aside you feebs, I am here and I am large and in charge now! I give the orders and you WILL obey! Now listen carefully...."

With Venom, an Ock cameo makes less sense.

However these are just my ramblings - with little semblance to reality, no doubt.

I think a cameo by Ock is entirely possible.I'll take anything in SM-3.Because the new bad guys do nothing for me.Nay not one thing.

However I am uncertain as to why some people keep saying this item really means nothing, because if Ock were reappearing, why not use Molina?

DUH. They would use Molina. And if he does anything stuntworthy, they'll call in the lookalike stunt-guy, right? Stunts during a cameo spell "interesting news" to me. After all, Dafoe got a well-deserved cameo but it's not exactly like he needed a stunt-guy for that one. What on earth are they having Molina DO? Wheeeeee!

This is the only news so far that has gotten one quiver of interest out of me.
And last but not least, Molina doing a cameo would be great just because it would shut up the legions whining even now: "But Ock's dead, we saw it and he's definitely dead because we all know there's no way anyone could possibly survive sinking to the bottom of the East River." bah-hahahahaha

Oh my God, if I found out we were getting Electro with the Six next up down the line, I think I would all but die of happiness.
