I don't wanna go into too much detail, but I wasn't expecting any of this to happen. Moffat does it again.

I'm glad Moffat has had a bit of creative resurgence after season 7 but I do hope he wraps up his tenure with next year.

His "shock" finales are having diminishing returns.

This is what I've been waiting for all the season, this season has been very hit and miss for me but this episode had me the entire time. I was spoiled by BBC facebook of the two big things that happened but they were still great to watch.

Though I do kind of wish that the whole Clara/Lava/Keys thing was more then it was.

They added so many clues, the windows were like DUH go figure I wouldn't notice that.

Of course I am one of the few but I wish River would come back, seeing her and Missy play off each other would be entertaining.

The Missy twist was one of those things that fans guess at the start of each season whenever there's a big new mystery, however this is the first time we've actually gotten it right.

That being said, I loved it. Now I'm really interested to see how everything works out next week between Clara/Danny and how Missy ended up in the position that she did.

Was hoping it would turn out to be the Doctors first wife. Susans grandmother.

Could have opened up the show and the Doctors history. This just feels like we've all been here before.

Agree that Moffat should step aside. Would love it if Gaiman would take over. The Doctors Wife was one of my favourite episodes. Tbh I only watched occasionally until I saw it. Then I went back and watched all of the new episodes.

Not sure whether to look forward to next week as other than The Big Bang (which is my favorite of new Who) I haven't liked a Moffat finale. And just by the set up you know there is some sort of reset button on the horizon.

I figured now would be a good time to bring back the Master. Have him f--k with the Doctor's head by telling him that passing the 13 regeneration is dangerous. That is part of what drove him insane. Whether or not it true doesn't matter.

Also withhold how he escaped wherever Gallifrey is.

I actually hope they try and explain how he got out of the time Lock or if he ever went in in the first place.

That's the part that makes absolutely no sense to me. The Clockwork dude died in the 1850s and the Dalek soldier died in whatever time, but both got uploaded?

I know it's Gallifreyan tech but they really should have toned it down a bit.

Yeah, it really doesn't make sense. I mean, [BLACKOUT]The Master[/BLACKOUT] in based in modern day london, and those events happen 100s of years before/after it happens.

Also, how did Missy even get into the nethersphere to speak to the clockwork droid without being dead?
