I strongly suspect the Christmas special is Coleman's last episode.

It's entirely possible Frost became a fan of the franchise later on.

Or he needs the money and is doing typical PR. Either/or.

Perhaps his friends ho appeared in doctor who convinced him. simon pegg and Jessica stevenson were good.

Pegg was wasted. He clearly jumped at the first role he could get, and he ended up in "The Long Game."

Reportedly, he was supposed to play Rose Tyler's dad, but scheduling got in the way, and he ended up playing the Editor of Satellite Five instead.

Awww. We nearly had Pegg as Rose's dad? Rose's dad, who was a recurring character?

I saw that comment she made about filming series 9, "They start filming in January."

Not "we" start filming. Grammatical slip of the tongue maybe?

ok i gotta ask but did anyone else see spike and possibly a judge from judge dredd in the list of every bad guy

It was John Hart from Trochwood and Absolom Daak, Dalek Killer. I loved that little scene.

I enjoyed that episode. I love a good crime heist caper.

Rewatching "Listen" anyone get "Doc Brown" vibes from Capaldi's appearance?

And the preview for "The Caretaker" has a guy that looks like Matt Smith....with a bowtie too!

I wonder if 12 will make a remark

This is probably my favorite episode thus far. Everything about it was great.

I though Who aired Sundays?

Regular episodes have been early Saturday evenings here in the UK since the relaunch, with 'specials' like the Christmas one's on whenever that falls.

Thought it was a good episode. Really looking forward to next week, The Caretaker, given I'm a fan of The Lodger and Closing Time.

I'm surprised that it's airing on Saturdays in the U.S..Usually there's a bit more of a delay, but BBC America has been airing them at 9pm eastern standard time on Saturday.

Like the Robin Hood episode, this episode didn't break any ground, but it was fun as hell.

let's just stay away from any groundbreaking stuffs for a while now and just get some good stories like we HAVE been lately... out of the five eps shown so far, iMho, it's actually been the first one, Deep Breath, that's been the weakest of the lot and everything since has improved, storywise and character-wise with the Doctor AND Clara......

That ep went by super fast.

Somehow I accidentally guessed who was the hooded man correctly.

I guessed who it was that basically hired them, but I assumed the whole heist was going to be a massive security test. So I was only half right.

That would've been awesome, seeing him back in Doomsday and stuff.

I actually thought that was Matt Smith, I had to rewind and see.

As for Time Heist, fun episode! Knew who it was after it was revealed that it was
a time travel heist

Time Heist was my favorite episode of the season thus far. Nice showing for 12.
