Um...Who is "Darkdevil?" 
Well to answer that question would be my pleasure SS! DarkDevil is the son of Ben Reilly, apparently Ben had a relationship with a woman named Elizabeth Tyne, but she died after DD,(whose real name is Reilly Tyne), was a little kid. He basicly bounced from an abusive foster home he was living in, and lived in the streets at 12 or 13 years of age. During this time, he started to develop his fathers powers, his spider-power, but also his degeneration diease too. Kaine had always knew of young Reilly, so when the diease started to kick-in big time, Kaine was there to assist him in his time of need, and told him the truth about himself. Kaine then put him in a ressuctation chamber to reverse the effects of the diease, where he stayed for months, and Kaine checked up on him from time to time. Now Kaine was hired by the Kingpin to "dust-off" his enemies, and those who betrayed him. During Kaine's vist to the Kingpin, DareDevil burst in on them informing the Kingpin that he had enough evidence to put him behind bars for life. Kingpin, being surrounded by all his hired muscle, tells Kaine to kill him, and they engage into battle. But Kaine was having difficulties with DD, so Kingpin orders his gunmen to kill them both. Kaine was pissed at hearing the orders given, and he and DD started fighting against the thugs. While Kaine was fighting, he had his back turned to the gunmen, and DD
saved Kaine from the gunshots, but was killed by doing so. Kaine took the dead DD back to where Reilly was, trying to revive DD to no avail. In a final attempt, Kaine the used the black arts, by summoning Zarathos, and asked him to reanimate DD back to life.
Zarathos rufused, and saw young Reilly in the chamber. He then went into his body to possess it, changing him from a boy to a man, with pastry skin, fangs, horns and markings on his forehead. That's when the spirit of DD came to fight Zarathos out of his body, which DD won, but Zarathos left his markings on Reilly, leaving looking like a devil. He went on to blame Kaine for what happen to him, and went on to find a way to regain his human appearance. After many months, he discovered that he could teleport anywhere, and return to the point of his first teleportation. He can also construt flame with the sai's that he uses in combat, and he morphs into his human appearance at will.
In honor of DareDevil, whose spirit lives within him, he wears a similiar costume like DareDevil's, but altered slighty. Reilly Tyne went on to law school, were he became an assistant, or public defender, at Foggy Nelson's law firm. He's now a lawyer at the firm. WHEW!!! I hope that narrows it down for you Scarlet-Spider!
DarkDevil had a limited 3 issue comic book out last year, you might still be able to pick it up, if you're interested!
